I paid for the pro version of this plugin via the total soft website using 2Checkout and I have not received the plugin. I have attempted sending message via the website contact page with no response, also tried contacting them via their email address which returns an undeliverable message.

Is this company legit or still functioning have I lost my money?

I’ll start by saying I am on a paid Business plan. 3 days ago I created a help request to get assistance with thousands of credit card transactions coming through my site which I believe to be fraud. I have heard NOTHING back at all… no response what’s so ever from the 24/7 support I’ve paid for for days now. I have had to hire a WP professional who has taken down my cart and checkout pages to stop the transactions but can’t move forward to fix anything else as he doesn’t have access to the backend. My genuine customers clearly cannot order. Fraud transactions are all coming from the same IP address so we just want to be able to block that address so I can open up my store again. We have even tried to download and install Wordfence to gain back control of the site but WP won’t let me install that. I have had no help from them and as a kick in the guts I am limited on what assistance I can provide to myself to get myself some kind of resolution. So…. my question…. how can I get some kind of response from “support” and or how do I reach out to customer service? How can I move forward? Next step I can see is a call to my solicitors… so if you know how to contact their legal team that would be good too.

Spocket is a Scam – Unauthorized Charges and No Support!

My experience with Spocket has been nothing short of a nightmare. After canceling my plan and removing my credit card, they still charged me! This is outright robbery. My account shows no active plan, and there’s no invoice to justify the charge. To make matters worse, their support team was completely useless, and I had to dispute the charge with my credit card company. The store setup never worked, and they ignored my support tickets. This service is a scam—stay far away!

Getting fraud transactions from WooCommerce Stripe Payment

Hello,
I am getting fraud transaction from some days. I am using WooCommerce Stripe Payment Gateway plugin on my website.

Basically our flow is we create an woocommerce order from custom code inside our custom theme.

After creating an order with pending status, we send user to order-pay screen. Their the user will able to see the payment methods used on that website like Stripe Credit Card and PayPal.

Yesterday I have talked to Stripe support team and they told me this:
“It looks like the card testers are obtaining client secrets for Setup and/or Payment Intents, then confirming the Intent with stolen card information. This confirms whether the card is valid, even without a payment.”

Here I have done 2 testing :
1.) from using other WP Theme : Storefront on Staging
I can see the payment intent inside Developer tools -> Network tab [ https://prnt.sc/EpZrecvRyD_n ]

2.) with my custom theme on Production
here also I can see the payment intent inside Developer tools -> Network tab [ https://prnt.sc/VCDplEv6rmY1 ]

So here I want to tell that in both environments I can see the client_secret is getting revealed. So now what to do in this situation to stop fraud transactions. Please help me ASAP.

Fake Store Credit

I have had a store credit appear on a customer order that was not created by me. I am a solo store operator so there is no one else that could have created it. The credit has been used to reduce the price paid for goods.

This has happened one time before. I put two factor authentication on my Bluehost account after this first time.

When I contacted the person who made the the first order, they said that there was a store credit so they used it. A store credit had not been created but they paid the difference to receive the goods and I left it there.

I was using a plug in called Advanced Coupons but I uninstalled the plugin yesterday as I was unable to turn off store credit.

Has anyone else encountered this and know of a way to ensure that this does happen again.

Fraud Prevention? Useless

Have been using Woopayments for a few months and haven’t had any issues, until I started getting bombarded with fraudulent payments.

The ‘Advanced’ Fraud protection is absolutely USELESS, the orders were:

NOT matching CVV to start with (it’s 2023, why isn’t this happening?)
Even after enabling AVS, payments were failing the zip code check, but still somehow allowed through?

Sure the Risk Evaluation was Elevated, but what does this mean for a company that sells digital products? absolutely nothing.

There’s no real control over anti-fraud measures and considering the actual Stripe plugin charges the same price for transaction fees, I would recommend that you stay far away from this if you want to sell to more than family and friends, oh and great response from the ‘Happiness Engineer’ that said they can’t do anything and even though their fraud checks were non existent, they wouldn’t be helping me out with the transaction fee’s that I have to cop on top of the products that I lost.

Unfortunately, as a free plugin, you can’t do anything with it, you have to pay $39.50, and the price on the website is misleading because it’s always listed as $79, with the promotion lasting all year long, it’s cheating people by misleading them into thinking that they have to buy it now suddenly, otherwise the promotion will disappear, if the creator practices such tactics, you may doubt how this plugin works, I’m fed up with such liars, put a real price on the website and stop lying to your customers

After TONS of meetings, back-and-forth, hours upon hours of troubleshooting and even offering development assistance on our end (and bringing in a third party developer at our expense) the software was deemed to never be brought to a minimally functional state. A refund was promised and never delivered. BEWARE!!! THEY WILL KEEP YOUR MONEY REGARDLESS OF SOFTWARE FUNCTIONALITY!!

I can send one of these file contents if you wish, but it seems that the folder /imagetests should not exist.
