FormMail error message – recipient not found

When people fill out my Contact Form 7 form, they receive an error message like the one below. Have I configured Contact Form 7 wrong or is this a problem with my mail server?

Form plugin for pre-built HTML form

I’ve built a custom contact form for a client and am implementing it with his WordPress site. The fields:

Name*
Company
Email*
Phone
Address 1 and 2
City/State/ZIP (state is drop-down menu)
Mode of contact (drop-down)
TOS agreement* (required checkbox)

All the plugins I’ve tried to handle the emailing and validation don’t take premade code and instead build their own forms, which I don’t want.

**Is there a plugin that simply applies validation to the inputs I want and will function as a formmail script?

Using FormMail Forms on WordPress Pages?

Dear Fellow WordPress Support Forums Members,

Hopefully quick question(s)/issues to resolve, ok?

Can I? and if so How? do I get FormMail forms to work properly from within a WordPress (WP) web page?

The reason I ask is that I created a WP page with such a FormMail form at:

but it doesn’t work ;( …

I can’t get the “I Accept” button there to do anything and I don’t know why?

I have a Very Similar FormMail form in the non-WP web page at: https://www.thevcf.com/jointhevcf.phtml

which works fine!

How to use formmail.php with WordPress

I’m using WordPress as a CMS for a business site. I’ve created an info request form on a Page using formmail.php. Does anyone know which directory I should put the formmail.php file for it to be accessed by the form?

I’ve tried putting it in my theme’s directory and, at a separate time, the root of the site. In both cases, once I’ve filled out and sent the form, instead of taking me to my “thank you” Page, it says, “Sorry, no posts matched your criteria.” I also noticed, the url is “https://mysite.com/request-info/formmail.php” instead of “https://mysite.com/request-info/thank-you” So apparently it’s looking for the formmail.php file under the request-info Page, as if it was a Sub-Page or in that directory, which is why it’s not working. So how can my form access formmail?
