How to Hide Form Labels in Form

I have been using RegistrationMagic for the past 2 years, and it’s been an amazing plugin for our forms—really love it!

I have a quick question regarding form customization. I want to hide the form labels from the field. Could you please guide me on how to achieve this?

Labels & Placeholders Not Showing on Login Form

When I add a label, placeholder text, or default value text, none of them show up on the login page. I just want the “username/email” and “password” fields labeled, but none of the ways to label are actually showing up. How do I fix this?

Comment field on booking form inaccessible

On the booking form, the comment field has an appropriate , but the comment field itself has only the ‘name’ attribute, and not the ‘id’ required to match the label with the field. It is currently:

Form Labels Do Not Appear on Duplicate Page

I created a form on this page ( https://it-specialists.ca/contact-us/ ) and all the field labels are appearing correctly (i.e. Your Name, Your Email, etc.). Then I created a duplicate copy of the page here ( https://it-specialists.ca/request-free-consult/ ) using the exact same form, and all the field labels have disappeared. If I remove the dark blue background on the duplicate page, I can see the labels in a small, dark font. In other words, the field labels are still there on the duplicate page, but they have the wrong color. So I checked the color settings inside the form on the duplicate page (i.e. Text Color, Placeholder Color, Background Color) and they are identical on both pages. So I re-entered the color settings on the duplicate page and it had no effect. In other words, the same form is being used on both pages; with the exact same color settings inside the form on both pages; yet the field labels do not appear on the duplicate page. There must be a bug inside the form on the duplicate page, since the color settings are not working properly and the field labels do not appear. If anyone knows how to fix this, I would appreciate your help!

The plugin works well with everything on the site except the Easy Appointment’s plugin form.

The fom labels and the buttons all get wrapped in the “#!trpst#trp-gettext data-trpgettextoriginal=####!trpen#“FormLabelAndButton”#!trpst#/trp-gettext#!trpen# *”

I’ve tried clearing cache and using the TranslatePress → Settings → Advanced settings:

1. Disable post container tags for post title
2. Disable post container tags for post content`

but no luck. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Does anyone know if I can wrap the labels around the inputs rather than have the inputs after the labels? If you inspect one of the inputs on the form at the link, you’ll understand what I’m talking about. Thanks!

Title Attributes and Labels for Menu

Hi – I am trying to make my site WCAG 2.1 and I keep getting two errors relating to the main menu navigation in the header.

the 1st error reads

There is no label to identify the purpose of the form control (1 occurrence)

and shows the following code segment –

How do I access the code to add the appropriate labels – I’ve looked in header.php, functions.php but can only find php code.

the 2nd error reads

The form control has no name (1 occurrence)

with the following code segment highlighted –

Again I cannot find where I can add a label to the generated html.

I am using the latest version of wordpress and I am using the shootingstar theme.

Any help will be greatly appreciated

Possible to change “Card name” to cardholder name?

Hi There!

Is it possible to change the “Card name” field to something different, such as “Cardholder name”? A good percentage of our donors are putting in Visa, MasterCard, etc. instead of the person’s name on the card, and it comes through this way on Stripe as well. This creates issues as our data processing team reconciles the gifts for the day, adds donors to our donor management system, and attempts to look people up on Stripe for donor history. We can do it, but this definitely slows down the process.

We had our developer read through the Changing Form Labels documentation (https://givewp.com/documentation/developers/changing-form-label-text/), but they believe that will only work on each high level category on the form – ex. Personal Info.

Is changing a subfield possible, or do they need to remain uniform since Give works with so many different payment processors?

Great plugin just testing now – thankyou, is there a way i can easily rename the word Party to Party Size or People, tried gettext but did not work, i am sure there is a easy way through theme functions i can apply. Has great potential.
