ul and ol list styles are different from p styles

Hey team – title says it all but for the life of me I can’t get the ul and ol list styles to match the size and spacing of the paragraph font. I’ve added the following CSS which helped (a bit) but I’m still showing varying space between lines for ordered lists and unordered lists. Appreciate any help here!

Target outcome: paragraph and list styles maintain the same and consistent font style, size, spacing, color, etc.

Cannot Change Base Font Size or Style

I have several websites using the Kadence theme. All are fully up to date. In one website (only) the base font “size” and “style” fields do not have any effect regardless of what is typed into the fields.

In other words, these settings remain stuck where they were when the site was first created about three years ago. The only function that works in the base font dialog is changing the font itself (e.g. from System to Verdana), which however does not solve the above problem.

The settings are exactly the same as in my other websites.

Strangely, it is possible to change the font sizes and styles for all header fonts as well as the site title and tagline. But not the base font.

Can anyone please advise what might be causing this and how to repair it?

Live editing is so Slow

When applying a padding, or margin, The live effects loads much slower. for example, when I change the padding, when I change the Padding values, the effect on element being edited, is somewhat lagging. Effects loads after a few milliseconds.
There is also font style issue, according to my experience. when I change the font style, The real font style is not applied in editing window.
