Instagram Follower Count Not Displaying Correctly

Dear Support Team,

I have installed the plugin “Social Media Share Buttons & Social Sharing Icons” because I would like to display the follower counter for my Instagram Business account. However, it seems that the follower count is not being recognized, as it consistently shows “0.”

Any idea what might be causing this issue?

WP 5.3 JP 7.9 Read More tag and subscriber new post notification email

I’ve been using the Read More tag in my posts partly to control what information is sent in the subscriber/follower new post notification. Material below the Read More tag has not been included in the new post notification email prior to updating to WP5.3. With the first post I created today under 5.3 (by copying an existing post and modifying it as i usually do), the new post notification email went out with the full text of the new post seeming to not honor the Read More tag any longer. Settings > reading > For each post in a feed, include is set to Summary. The behavior seems to have changed. Any suggestions?

Display follower count?

Hello and thanks for this wonderful plugin. Is it possible to display my follower count next to the follow button? I found what looks to be JavaScript code that should make it possible but I have no idea how to implement it especially in the context of your plugin. wordpress.com follower count not updating

My WordPress.com follower count shows 6 but when I count them there are 7. The email only follower count is correct though. I thought maybe it needed time to update, but it’s been over a couple days and the count is still wrong. Can you please clear the cache (as mentioned in other resolved posts), or help resolve?

Issues related to Subscribers…

HI,

I am not sure if this issue/possible issue is already addressed. I have searched a lot but did not found the exact answer I an looking for.

I have just moved to www.remarpro.com from my wordpress.com website. I have installed Jetpack and asked help to move my email and wordpress followers from old website to new. They helped me in this regard. Then I got the 301 redirect to redirect from old website to new. All these being done, till now I know that likes cannot be migrated.

Now that I am posting in my new website…I am not sure if my old subscribers are able to read my new posts. There are many subscribers(who have been migrated)…who use to like and comment in my posts. Now that I have already written atlest 5 of them in the new website…I haven’t received any comments or likes…which I think I may have received.

Can anyone please help me to figure it out…if actually my old subscribers whose details have been migrated are actually able to read my posts and able to comment on it or like it. Or if the migration was a successful.

Email Notifications

Hello,

I previously asked a question regarding email requirements for anonymous users. Your answer worked great.

However, it appears that users aren’t getting email notifications for new answers. In the setting, when I check New Answer Notifications (to Admin), I do get an email. But according to an email log plugin I installed, a copy doesn’t get sent to the original user who asked the question.

Is it possible that the original user isn’t automatically getting added as a follower of the question? If so, is there an easy way to adjust the code so they’re a follower by default?
