I wondered if you would please consider adding support for your plugin to be used on Flywheel hosting?
]]>I installed the Jetpack plugin and get this error on the Jetpack Dashboard.
Currently in Offline Mode (some features are disabled) because:
After adding this line to the wp-config.php page nothing happens. define( 'JETPACK_DEV_DEBUG', true );
?to your?wp-config.php
?file. Make sure you add it before the?/* That's all, stop editing! Happy blogging. */
?line.
I even swapped that code out with JETPACK_DEV_DEBUG
?constant, but I’m not a programmer and am not sure if it was also supposed to be placed above the /* That's all, stop editing! Happy blogging. */
?line., too, but did anyways and I am still unable to access this plugins features.
I also installed the Surbma | Jetpack Offline Mode plugin, kept define( 'haJETPACK_DEV_DEBUG', true );
and getting this error.
What am I missing and what do I need to do to fix this problem?
]]>I am running a wordpress multisite setup on a Plesk server with Debian Buster. I just migrated this website and everything is running smoothly.
However: as soon as I try to update plugins, I get the message “Update Failed: Could not create directory”. Also, the following message gets logged:
PHP message: PHP Warning: file_exists(): open_basedir restriction in effect. File(/var/www/vhosts/business.eu/httpdocs/wp-content/upgrade/akismet.4.2.1-giPwTp/) is not within the allowed path(s): (/var/www/vhosts/business.eu/httpdocs/:/tmp/) in /var/www/vhosts/business.eu/httpdocs/wp-admin/includes/class-wp-filesystem-direct.php on line 390
. As you can see, the path is IN the open_basedir setting. Yet it logs it as a violation of the restriction. Strange, huh?
If I disable the open_basedir restrictions. The error stays but nothing gets logged anywhere. I have confirmed that I can write to the wp-content/
directory with the user that executes php files.
What’s going on here? Does anyone have any experience with this?
]]>I have a foodblog and I noticed that at the end of every blogpost appears a broken sign and when I click on it it takes me straight to https://getflywheel.com/ . My host is BigScoots so I don’t understand why this is happening. How can I get rid of it?
Thank you for the help,
Carlo
]]>When I install WP as a multisite (subdomain or subdirectory), there are some problems (for all user roles):
Troubleshooting
It only happens for a multisite install (subdomain as well as subdirectory).
Replication
I tried several times, with fresh installs and new WP subsites.
System Details
Local version 5.10 to 5.10.3 on a Mac Big Sur 11.2.3 (and 11.2.2)
I have made an issue on the Local by Flywheel community forum, including a log file: https://localwp.com/community/t/json-error-on-wp-multisite/24823
]]>I can install the MainWP dashboard but when I run through the Quick Setup Wizard and try to add a site, it says the child plugin can’t be found but when I finish the wizard, I get this warning at the top of the dashboard regardless of which MainWP page I’m on:
( ! ) Warning: openssl_pkey_export(): cannot get key from parameter 1 in C:\Users\livec\Local Sites\mainwp\app\public\wp-content\plugins\mainwp\pages\page-mainwp-server-information-handler.php on line 216
… followed by the call stack data.
I don’t get this on the wp-admin dashboard.
I’m running it on a W10 PC but I *think* Local provides a Linux environment, that’s what I chose in the wizard. However, if I choose Windows, it asks for the location of the OpenSSL.cnf file, which I cannot locate – I’ve seen several threads on this but they didn’t seem to answer it for me.
I assume the reason I can’t connect to the child has something to do with this warning but I’m stuck.
I did wonder if my Kaspersky security was blocking Local but I added Local as a trusted application (I’ve tried many combinations of the various options) and even with Kaspersky disabled, I get the same error. However, I think Windows Defender may have taken over instead.
To save me running around in circles, has anyone come across this and can you tell me what I’m missing?

If you don’t have time to deal with such a specific matter in a free plugin, I’ll understand. Anyway, I’m reporting the issue.
]]>Now I can access wp-admin, but it says “You do not appear to have any plugins available at this time” and the front page of the site says “The themes directory is either empty or doesn’t exist.” I’ve confirmed the themes and plugins folders are correctly named and permissions are set to 755 for all themes and plugins.
I’d appreciate your help!
]]>After the push I am asked to “Sign in with Google to configure Site Kit” but when I do I see that it wants me to validate the domain associated with the staging version of the site and not production.
I have disabled/enabled, removed the plug-in and re-installed (latest version) with caching off and on but still no luck. I don’t know how to change the domain associated with SiteKit back to the production site.
I searched the database to see if it’s a value I could change manually but nothing there either. The funny thing is all my data in GA is correct so I know it’s tracking the correct site even though it says it needs to be configured.
Any suggestions?
