When I enable Flexbox on an element and try to embed a YouTube video using the “YouTube WordPress Plugin by Embed Plus,” the video doesn’t display. However, if I disable Flexbox, the video appears. Additionally, embedding the same video using YouTube’s native embed code works without any issues, even with Flexbox enabled.
For various reasons, I need to use Flexbox. Is there a workaround that allows me to embed videos using the plugin within a Flexbox element?
]]>So I am currently working on a new online store, https://adaline.ro/ , and I have a issue with the Header on some mobile devices (for example on iphone 12 pro and 14 pro the issue isn’t present). Whenever you enter from a phone with a wider screen, web archive looks like it is not centered but in fact you have to zoom out, and after you do that you can see the blank space in the right side of the header. I kind of know that the problem is caused by some overflow, maybe something from the header element, as when I delete the shopping cart button the problem is kind of solved (the header is on the full width of the page) but at the same time the layout of the product archive changes from two columns to only 1 column, so there is something to further investigate and I already lost a lot of time on it and maybe you have more ideas.
]]>When the Elementor resource feature “Flexbox Container” is active, the plugin shows the calculator, but after inserting a postal code (for Brazil, example 37950-000 or 04144-000) the calculator doesn’t work, it not even consults (by admin-ajax) the Melhor Envio API. Nothing happens.
If I make a testing page using sections and disable Elementor Flexbox container feature, it works. It’s a bug related with Elementor Flexbox. But the entire site is made with containers, if I disable, everything disappears.
Here is the old site, not using Elementor, in which the plugin works fine.
The steps to reproduce is in an product single page, with the buy button and the Melhor Envio plugin installed (with the necessary Brazilian Market on WooCommerce) and Melhor Envio option to show shipping calculator in the products page, and Elementor feature Flexbox container active, the calculator doesn’t work.
The console do not show any error.
It allows me to tweak and style those elements to match the overall style of the theme and is absolutely fantastic in styling different components that has been integrated/glued together, but still produce the same look & feel.
Great developer, awesome community – 11 out of 10, would whole-heartedly recommend.
]]>Until now I’ve used the sections/columns with “stretch section” to get a full width. All was ok.
Now, I want to use Flexbox containers but when I select the option “full width”, both in design and viewing, my container isn’t full width, there’s still a margin to the left and right, nothing happens, it’s as if I’d selected the option “boxed”.
=> still no full with on my containers, the problem percist ;-(
Would you have a suggestion for me, something I might have forgotten, an idea because I’m getting desperate?
Thanks in advance and have a nice day
I’m starting to migrate my site to flexbox and I noticed that woocommerce memberships view control support is only working on the old model with sections.
I contacted skyverge about the compatibility issue, but they asked me to contact you because you were the ones who added this feature to Elementor.
The problem is simple, the member control function does not appear in the advanced tab of the flexbox widget, if I switch to sections it works normally.
Is there any configuration I need to do on my side to appear?
]]>I set settings.spacing.blockgap to true and would have thought that the value I defined in styles.blocks.core/columns.spacing.blockgap is used for gap, but the gap value in the frontend CSS remains at 1.25em, no matter what I enter in theme.json.
What am I doing wrong?
Appreciate your help
Sibylle
