Broken Page (no css applied) with Kimili Flash Embed

Hi there, very nice plugin but unluckily seems it does not work properly on pages where there is a Flash Embed using Kimili Plugin, the page (inspected with Chrome or Firefox Firebug) shows no css is applied and comes out as text only. After some troubleshooting disabling your plugin resolved the issue. Any suggestion on how to fix this or maybe some other user experiencing the same?

How can I link a SWF file to another page within wordpress?

Hello,

I recently researched how to embed a swf file into wordpress and was able to do so using “Kimili Flash Embed” plugin.

It is a 2 image SWF file so when 1st clicked it goes to second image.

Now, once that second image appears I want it to then go to another page in wordpress. How can I make this happen? Any suggestions are greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Errors with Top Flash Embed and getimagesize

Im using your plugin with Manage Upload Types and am successfully uploading swf, BUT Im getting errors when I upload.
(Im also using the $mimes add_filter upload_mimes code available from various sources, in a child functions.php which allows the Manage Upload Types to recognise the mime type automatically, the functions.php would not work on its own…)

I’m getting the following errors when I upload, (but wasnt getting them initially):

Do you have any ideas what might be causing this? Ive removed/replaced the functions add filter, it made no difference. Id really like to use your plugin cos its for students and having an easy way to do it from the WYSIWYG would be perfect.

Ads don′t work after 3.4.2 update

After the update to 3.4.2, all my ads are gone on my WordPress multisite network. I use OpenX, and when I log in to my account with OpenX is the following message:

Dashboard Error

XML-RPC connection error (code: 800)

System message: XML-RPC connection error

The dashboard pulls information from a central server for some widgets. There are Several things Which can Affect this.
Your server may not have the the curl extension enabled. You may need to install or enable the curl extension, see here for more details.
You should check overpriced That isn’ta your firewall blocking outbound connections.

Can someone please tell what might be wrong?

Flash embed screen resolution issue

I have created a Flash file that is 640 (width) x 480 (height). I inserted screenshots containing text into the movie. When I view the exported swf file in a flash viewer at the exact dimensions (640×480)it looks great, the text in the images is perfectly clear. However when I embed the file into my blog (using Kimili Flash Embed) it looks terrible, I guess because of the different screen resolution (also if I make the window of the flash player bigger it makes the text look bad). Is there anything that I can do to ensure that the movie is always shown at 640×480, no matter what the screen resolution is?

Multiple linked SWF files don’t work!

Hi this is my new post here and I’m new to WordPress (I’m using the 2.8.4 version).
I created a page where I would like to put a flash I’ve done, exactly there are 3 .swf files linked each other.
That’s my case:
index.swf that load on the fly a movie.flv, after this it loads magic.swf and finally end.swf
I’ve tried some addons but it plays only index.swf.
Seems that they don’t like the linked .swf file.

Anyone can help me please?

All of the files are in a different directory, so when I put the code into the post, it will display the player, but will not grab the mp3’s. I’m not real sure what the problem is. Any help would be great!

Defining css on page, not in style.css?

I’m using WordPress to showcase my flash movies, so I’m trying it to set up so different flash movies will be displayed on different posts, using custom variables. I’m using Kimili Flash Embed to embed the movies and I use custom fields to load the address to the urls.

Problem is, I can’t center the movie with the margin:auto; command unless I specify the width of the div object in which the movie is embedded. The width will be different depending on the movie, so defining it in the style.css won’t work very well.

Is there a way of defining the width of a div class on the actual page instead of in the style.css file?
