9 months ago I reported the problem that arises when the slideshow rewinds backwards: the first slide is not seen as it is skipped quickly.

How to set Smart Slider 3 slider to have no first slide?

I remember selecting the leftmost slide as “first,” but I don’t want it to be first anymore. I just want a random slideshow.

If I hover over the yellow star on the first slide (the one that also shows first in our slideshow), I cannot disable it—nothing pops up.

The 3-dot menu for the first slide does not have an “Unset as first” option.

I cannot find slider settings or slide settings for disabling the forced first slide.

I’ve tried everything I could think of (from slider, from image, altering meta slider lightbox code…), and I’m good at missing stuff… Is there a simple possibility to launch a meta slider in a lightbox (I use Simple Lightbox but tried with others) pointing to the first slide, either launched from an image or same meta slider?

First slide duration shorter

It appears that the first slide lasts less than others in the first go, on page load, although the duration is set to be the same on all slides. On the second round all slides last the same.

Why is that? Is this has something to do with the transition, and can it be overcome?

I just installed Master Slider but no matter how much I change the settings, the first slide always comes up blank. Is there something I’m missing? Or otherwise is there a workaround for this?

the slider works beautifully in every browser except Firefox. I can’t get the first slide to show? The slide info is there but no image. I would appreciate any help out there. Thanks so much!

First slide partially broken in Chrome

Hi there,

I’m using a responsive theme on a Linux hosting now I’m under construction. I use “Easing Slider Lite” in my homepage, I like it because is very light and easy to manage,

Sometimes it appens, only in Chrome, that the first slide get broken on the bottom (just a slice), but it easy fixed by switching to another tab and then back; instead if I don’t switch tab, it naturally solved on the next slide.

Anybody experienced something like this?

Delay on first slide

It takes a while before my slides appear. I’ve seen other people have a problem with this, but haven’t seen a solution. I don’t have any javascript errors either.
