The free version is great for backup, but looking at the Pro version for migration, it will only allow you to use it for a single site, which means it’s pretty expensive.

Failed restore

Tried a simple back up and restore and it failed!

Dropbox Backup (www_sitename_com-full-2017_03_13_18_45) wasn’t restored

Full Restore Not Working

I have a FULL backup that is in my Dropbox folder. My site was completely trashed, so I need to build a new site and restore it.

So, I re-installed WordPress, downloaded the plugin, logged into my account, but the backup doesn’t show.

I can copy the file(s) manually to the wp-content/Dropbox_Backup folder.

From there, the files show up on my site and I can click “Restore”. The plugin says that is restores successfully and some files come back, like my plugins, and my theme, but none of my posts, uploads, or pages, or theme settings/customizations come back.

This is a huge problem for me. Am I doing something wrong? Please help!

Works perfectly ans seems to make a real full backup of my site. Very convenient that you can store your backup in Dropbox as well as on a local harddisk.

So I uninstalled wordpress application in my hosting account in Godaddy and reinstalled it (version 3.8) and restored all the files from FTP File Manager’s history. The only problem is the site does not seem to have a theme even though the wp-content->theme->blogonlyhonest has a style.css file. What should I do, change?
