other files of 18 pages or so load fine in the plug-in. File size of 47 pages shows blank pages. Files are all modified on Mac and saved as Mac PDF. Does the plug-in only recognize raw PDF files such as what you would get if you export a Mac PDF to PDF?

File Size Limit

Is there a limit when uploading a file? When trying to use “Add from server” for larger files (>200MB) I’m having trouble. No error or timeout, it just stops loading and the file is not in my media library.

If there is a limit, where do I see what it currently is and change it? I’ve updated the file size limit in php5.ini but it doesn’t seem to make a difference?

hello,

my apologies if this has been posted elsewhere…

i know how to make the changes to increase the file size limit of uploads, but i am having a hard time explaining to a client as to why is there a limit in the first place.

in a nutshell: i have maxed out the upload file size limit, and the client wants it to be more. i’ve checked with my hosting provider, and their answer is basically “no, you can’t have any more”—which isn’t going to help explain things to my client.

any insights here would be much appreciated!

I am trying to do a full backup ( database and files ) and I always have the problem that it stops. This message appears:

I am with German Hoster Strato and I tried to copy (‘UPDRAFTPLUS_NO_BINZIP’, true); in the config.php file ( like mentioned in your forum ) but then the plugin tries to start and nothing happens.

Where should place this command exactly in the files. Because I tried several positions and either my site is not accesable any more it does not work.

Any other solution for this ?

We are loving this plugin so thank you for all your hard work. One thing that we wondered though is that if we could change the file size upload limit to other than the 2MB that’s indicated.

i have a really weird problem… I saw on this forum that u can change the upload size file limit. I tried to do it as php.ini or with the .htaccess file. But nothing worked for me. I hope you have a solution for my problem

I have created a php.ini file the allows media uploads to 1024mb. This has been test successfully using WORDPRESS > MEDIA > ADD NEW. However, when i upload using Smallerik, the file does not appear in the repository after the browser’s status goes from 0-100% upload. Smaller files upload fine and show in the repository. Is there a place in the settings that allow larger file uploads?

on my website (Provider Strato) I’m not allowed to create files larger than 30MB. Is it possible to split the backup archives so that the file size is not larger than 30BM?

Upload HTTP error

Hello,
I am getting HTTP error if I try uploading files that are larger than aproximately 3MB. However my memory limits and upload limits are all set to 48MB. Even wordpress says that maximum file size limit is 48MB.

Do you have any suggestions on how to fix this? I can provide any phpinfo values that you want. Maybe I can even post a link with whole phpinfo but only if it is absolutely necessary
