It would be ideal if users could only see files that were actually allowed for uploading. Second choice would be that the User Submitted Posts plugin would give the error message and not try to submit the form until the file chosen was fixed, so they wouldn’t see any really bizarre message.
And thanks for a great plugin!
I cannot see the List of Files Revised in the version information page.
It was usually there for earlier releases, like this one for 4.7.18:
Could you please let me know what files have been updated?

To install the Beta, just deactivate your existing copy of Simple File List and then install the beta. A new plugin folder will be created and your existing files and database info will be used. You can easily go back and forth between versions by activation/deactivation.
Your feedback would be very much appreciated!
When viewing the file list to download, it shows the new file on the same level as all other files. Can I show the subfolder in the list? Am I missing something?
Thanks
I would like files uploaded on a specific page to be listed only on that page. I need the ability to have any user (‘guest’, not logged in) to upload a few files to a page and then see her specific file(s) only on that page.
Please let me know if this is possible, and how to do it.
Many thanks!
As the title says, I would like to remove the “hits” column from the table template (used as file list).
I’ve been looking in the embed templates section of the plugin, but even creating a new template, it looks like you can choose things like 3-col-row or data table, both of which include the hits column…
Can you help me out?
Tom

When I look at the list of all downloads, the new upload appears in the list, but the file name is not included in the list. There’s no way to see the file from there.
Here’s a couple of screen shots so you can see what I mean.

I’m testing it on a multilanguage website (using Polylang), and I have the following needs: list specified PDFs not with their file name, but with their descriptions (titles).
I used this syntax:
[fileaway flightbox=”pdfs” boxtheme=”silver-bullet” only=”document-name.pdf” theme=”silk” color=”black” iconcolor=”blue”] which is correctly showing the PDF, but how do I show a title instead of the file name?
Something that mimics:
Here Goes The 1st Description
Here Goes The 2nd Description
Is it better to use a table, instead of a list, to achieve that result?
Thank you!
