How to search a height range in feet

Hello,

I have used BuddyPress Xprofile Custom Fields plugin so members need to select their height (in feet) using a drop down box.

I want to use the bp profile search plugin to find members by a specified height range. However, I cannot find a way to do this.

For example, I want members to have the ability to search members which have a height between 5″6′ and 6″. Does anyone know the best way of achieving this?

I have product add-on text box areas for a few of my products where my customers enter information such as dimensions and radius’s. When you type in a number such as 6′ 10″ (six feet ten inches) into one of these text box areas, it shows up as 6/ 10/ on the backside. By “backside” I mean when that same data is then provided in the shopping cart, email, order confirmation, etc, I get the forward slashes instead of the foot and inch quotation marks.
Anyone know how to correct this please?

Inches and yards are available to select, but Feet (another vital Imperial unit) is suprisingly not available at the moment!

I’ve been struggling for several days with a new blog that was suddenly throttled, but one particular symptom has been nagging me: why would my entire /wp-content/uploads/ directory be suddenly blocked from viewing by web browsers and my WordPress installation?

Symptoms:
-my media library stopped showing the image thumbnails, and
-the individual image files are unavailable for viewing by browser. This occurred at the same time I received my first warning about throttling.
– I am able to reach these files, and see them, via FTP, and they are visible, even *previewable*, by the CPanel File Manager.
– The permissions on the folders and files are all perfectly normal. 755/644…

About the content: the blog is a small personal French-language site dedicated to barefoot running, ie jogging without shoes, or with minimalist shoes like Vibram FiveFingers. The photos show bare feet and legs, like for example in a running event.

It just dawned on me that this _might_ be running afoul of BlueHost’s ToS, possibility concerning the “nudity” criteria. So far the support person merely suggested there was a problem with WordPress, but that wouldn’t explain the inability to view an entire subdirectory. Has anyone encountered similar issues?

I need to make a rapid decision about finding another hosting company, if this turns out to be an issue for BlueHost.

New to wordpress, have a theme/graphic question.

Once I install a theme, if the author allows it can I change the top image to match the theme of my site? I was unsure if I was able to edit images and make the theme more my own so it would fit my site.

Also, I have looked but haven’t come up with much, have you come across any themes with shoes (heels) or feet? I’m doing a foot fetish blog, hehe so just wondered if anybody had come across that. Thanks.
