I am working on my author page in Amazon’s Author Central. I’ve added my blog’s feed; the most recent post is: https://artforartssakepress.com/2020/07/09/singing-butterflies/

I ran the link through Amazon’s recommended Validator.w3.org. This produced two error/issue messages, both on line 35, quoted below. I read the info at the [help] links Validator provided, but I don’t honestly know where to start to fix either issue. Any thoughts?

I cannot get the RSS feed to work podcast only

Hello,

I am very new to this and am trying to post out podcast only d=so I can submit to Itunes.
Everything looks fine but there is an issue verifying the RSS feed

I am getting this error:
Feed Problems.
This feed does not validate as a basic RSS feed. Please check for syntax errors

And then:It looks like this is a web page, not a feed. I looked for a feed associated with this page, but couldn’t find one. Please enter the address of your feed to validate.

RSS feed doesn’t update when post published

Hi,
I had some issues last week with >my feed not showing correctly. I thought it was a cache issue that got fixed. But i am having the same problem again.
The last two posts published on my website are not showing in the feed. (March 15th & March 20th posts. According to the feed validator, the last post that shows in the feed is March 14th). It looks like the feed validates though. I am not sure what the issue is and how to fix it.

It looks like our image tags are incorrectly formed. Is there an issue with the Seriously Simple Podcast XML? Or is there something I can do on my end? I hope someone will be able to help me.

Job Feed Not Validated

Hi guys,

Recently I’ve been trying to get my job feed validated with no luck. I tried deactivating all plugins, and activated the default WordPress theme, leaving only job manager active. But I keep getting this error:

XML parsing error: :12:28: undefined entity

Simple Firewall blocks fetch on feeds

I am sorry to inform that after enabling this plugin, feed validator url won’t work anymore https://validator.w3.org/feed/check.cgi?url=yoursitehere.com%2Ffeed%2F

The feed validation service shows:

Server returned HTTP Error 403: Forbidden

I had to whitelist “search engines” at https://www.yoursitehere.com/wp-admin/admin.php?page=icwp-wpsf-firewall
in order to get validator.w3.org back to work.

Would be nice if there a way to instruct Simple Firewall that feeds are allowed to be fetched by everyone.

I’m using category podcasting and my category feeds are not working, this is what I get when validating through Feed Validator:

How to Remove Custom fields for Feed Validation

Hi:
I am using Feed Valdation and it states:
url must be a full URL: (237 occurrences)
I have removed the audio media from the main body and removed all custom fields like duration, enclosure, filesize. The custom fields still keep returning after saving many times.
how do i permanitaly fix this problem.
