How to remove featured-text/title from slider?

I would like to edit or remove featured-text/title box in slider. How is it possible?
I already tried following but it’s not working:

Hi Mike,

many thanks for providing this beautiful theme for the WP-community.

One question please: As seen on Small Town Inertia, it is possible to chose a featured image for the front page. But it is also possible to control the featured text?

My first guess was that the first sentences of the text appear automatically on the front page. But then I discovered that James had managed to put a passage from the middle of his posting as featured text which looks like this:

Where do I find these settings?

Featured Text always displays in widget

I want to be able to show books in the Author Pro widget WITHOUT showing the featured text. But it always displays whether I have the box checked or not. Is this a glitch? Or is there something I can do to make that happen? See example here https://andybwrites.com/

Polylang and Customizr home page: multilingual slider and featured text

Hi,

I have no idea how to set a slider and featured text for each language I have on my website, that use Customizr.
I know this topic is not new: before there was a bridge code :

But now (since April 2015), it seems we don’t need a bridge code anymore.
So, how do we do concretly?

I mean : my website is both in French and English. Everything was set in French.
For English though, I don’t know how to choose a different slider and feature texts.
Shall I do it directly on the Customizr settings (Home page) or on WordPress?

Featured text on homepage not picked up by Google?

Hi all, I have a question regarding Customizr and SEO. When I fetch my homepage in google webmaster tools it doesn’t look like it renders the featured text under the featured images on the homepage. It isn’t picked up by Yoast WordPress SEO either. It is such an awesome theme that I’m sure I’m just missing something? I’d appreciate your thoughts. Thanks!

I am using the formation theme and I am having trouble getting the slider to work or having my featured text box images and text show up. I created the “Featured” post category as the instructions indicate but this did not work.

By default, there are 3. Is there a way to conveniently remove one of them AND keep the other 2 centered on the page?

Customizing featured image & text width

Any ideas on how to customize the featured image size and text width size on the Contango homepage? I updated the custom image size dimensions in Functions.php (changing it from 200×180 to 150×150) but it didn’t seem to work. I’d like to make the image smaller (and hard crop to square) and then expand the text to the left. My site is here: https://lizdoes.com
