How to Remove Featured Articles on KB Main Page

Hello, I recently downloaded and installed this plugin and I’m loving it! I’m using it as an online training manual for when I will retire and someone else will replace my position. Essentially, the only person who will access this knowledge-base is myself and my eventual replacement. So, I want to remove the Featured Articles section which includes popular articles, updated articles, etc. from the KB main page. It’s not needed in my case but I can’t seem to find an option to remove it or hide it. Is there a specific shortcode that I can use or is there a setting where I can turn this off?

I have purchased the premium product and I have emailed you as requested however I have not heard from you so I need am writing here. Mostly because I need support help ASAP.

The plugin did not pull any of the articles in Joomla 1.5 from the FrontPage manager, which I have learned was later called the Featured articles.

I need these badly as they were all of the static pages on the Joomla website.

Pictures on blog does not show up on social networking sites

I have a blog and when I post an article and view it on Twitter, Google+ and Facebook, there is an unrelated picture that shows up with the article instead of the article in the post. I have gone directly to the theme (crucial) support for help but it is non-existent. I am not a coder.

The blog states it does not support featured articles however there have been a few articles that post with the same picture but most do not.

Can somebody tell me how to make sure the same picture that is in the article shows up when it goes to the social networks?

I want the sidebar to show on homepage, to the right of featured articles… even if remain only 3 articles on the raw at secondary area of featured articles. And I want to show only this secondary featured articles, without the first big one. Can someone help me? Thanks in advance!

Broken slider

I’m running a BresponZive Child theme with the Featured Articles Lite plugin for my slider (BresponZive slider wouldn’t show up). The FA slider was working great until a few days ago. Now it’s only showing the first post in the category (recent posts). It won’t let me manually change slides either.

The slider still works in preview, so I think it’s actually a problem with my theme and not the plugin itself. I just went through a big redesign and was editing a lot of css and some code, but nothing that I thought would affect the slider. I was checking the site between edits, but didn’t pay attention to the slider because I didn’t expect it to be effected.

Help updating or uninstalling an obsolete plugin that is missing

Hi there, I’ve just inhereted a site that was prebuilt with an older version of WordPress.

I have found a video in the site content folder showing me how to edit featured homepage content. The video says to click on the ‘Homepage Features’ tab on the admin control panel, however there is now ‘Homepage Features’ tab. I am unsure as to whether this was a plugin that was deemed obsolete and deleted or if it has been restructured into a submenu. I am unable to locate a place to edit the articles that are cycling and featured on the homepage.

My question, is there a way to reinstall or edit these homepage featured articles? If you visit https://www.wineonhigh.com you can see that the homepage cycles through several articles. I just need to know how to access and edit or remove these slideshow-style featured articles.

Hi there,

I have i problem creating featured posts. I recently went from joomla to wordpress and i don’t see option to mark post as featured. Does WordPress have that feature by default or do i need some sort of plugin in order to set post to featured like in joomla?

Also i tried to look for a widget that could show featured items in it so that it automatically pulls the featured picture and intro text in it, but i didn’t have any luck. Do any of you know a good solution to this?

That’s what I get when looking at my site, after upgrading to WordPress 3.5. The FA window shows up allright, but a little smaller and with that error on top.

I replaced my site with “xxx”.
