Featured image size for Post list

Hi,

I am struggling to reduce my page size due to full size image being rendered. The Post List widget does not have an option to select the featured image resolution like – Thumbnail, medium, large, full, etc. This makes it un-scalable.

Any workaround to fix this?

Featured Image Not Displaying in Full Size

Hello,

I recently went to upload a new page to our website and would like to resolve an issue with the display size of the page’s “featured image”. The featured image is showing up as a thumbnail size rather than the “full (980x450px)” size. (I have selected the “full (980x450px)” size option under the “Layout” options for the page; still the featured image displays thumbnail size.

All of my previously existing pages display the featured image full size as we’d like. If someone could please help me in determining the cause of the featured image not displaying in full, I’d greatly appreciate it!

There is a link attached to one of our pages with the featured image displaying in full as we’d like. If needed, I can follow up with a link to a page with what I’m describing.

Note:
– All of my images are pre-sized before importing into WordPress to within a 1024 x 1024px size.
– There are currently no “live” pages on our website displaying what I’m explaining, as I realized the issue when viewing the preview of the new page to be added and did not post it.

Hello Everyone

I am VERY new to events and really ned a little help.

When uploading images I get this message.

”The image file is too big! Maximum size: dbem_image_max_size

The image is too big! Maximum size allowed: dbem_image_max_width x dbem_image_max_height”

image_upload_size is set at 16m in multisite so I figured it was a setting somewhere else in here.

I am delighted with what it can do and will be going over to the pro version once I can see it in operation and can rely on it.

Featured image in Post – how to change size

Hi,
I am redesigning my blog and in my last theme (Toujours) the featured images could be square. All my old images are square and in the “latest post” page of Virtue they look great, but once you enter the actual Post page their size is cut to rectangular.
How can I keep the original proportions of the photos?

Feature Image does not fill the box

I love the look of this theme but noticed that the feature images are no longer filling the space for the feature image. There is grey on both sides of the image. I have attempted to resize the image prior to upload but no change.

Feature image not big enough for FB pull

Facebook has strict guidelines about the size of photo it will use when you upload a link.

Feature image max size looking good is 810 x 485 yet blog photos can be 810 x 504.

FB is no longer pulling the feature image and only letting me select blog images. When I manually upload I lose the blurb at the bottom.

It’s messy and not compatible with FB which needs resolved.

Cannot Change Size of Feature Image on Summary Page

I am trying to change the feature image size for my posts page (I elected to hide the feature image from full posts). But no matter what I do, the feature is showing up VERY large on the posts page. How can I change it to more of a thumbnail size?
