At next convenient revision level, please change the title of “Load Combo Version” to “Combine JS and CSS Files to Optimize Page Loading Speed” ?

Also, please change the title of “Load Min Versions” to “Minify CSS Files to Optimize Page Loading Speed”

Question: Is our custom CSS style (files) also minified if we select the above option?

Making the above changes will help many understand better what these selectors mean.

Google CDN Not Loading When Using GTranslate

A website performance test via webpagetest.org reveals that GTranslate – apparently – is not allowing Google’s CDN for “translate.googleapis.com” to load on our website. Click here for details.

The end result is that browser caching of all translated assets for our website and/or download speed of translations is not where it should be.

Kindly explain why we’re not seeing the “Google” CDN listed next to “translate.googleapis.com” and – if possible – kindly provide a JS Code that we can add to the header of our website to fix the above concerns.

Super Useful Plugin – Scales Images Perfectly

Exactly the plugin I needed! We wanted to create custom icons using iconPRO and use these custom icons as graphics in our WordPress blog posts.

This plugin allows us to make custom icons and then scale them to 400x400px. That means these custom icons (graphics) match our blog post content and are SUPER fast to load (10K) – compared to larger images at that same size in PNG format. Our posts are loading in .5 seconds as compared to 5 seconds using multiple PNG files (totaling 5MB).

Hi,
I want the graphs to load faster but they are loading a little slow. Sometimes it takes around a minute which can make the visitor leave the page. Is there a way to speed up loading of graphs? For example check this page. Cheshnotes

How to load Adsense ads before the sidebar

Two of my ads are in the content area. I notice that the entire site is loaded, including the sidebar, before the ads are.

Is there any way to force the ads to load with the content, and not wait for the sidebar (which has a FB and Twitter widget and a whole bunch of javascript)?. Thanks.
