Cannot Pay for Failed Order – Does Not Lead to Checkout Page

Hi, we need some help.

Our customer is trying to pay for a failed order, but when they go to their Account>Order and click Pay, instead of the checkout / pay page they get redirected to Cart with the error ‘Order #23711 has not been added to the cart.’

We tried to login as them on their behalf and are facing the same issue. We have also tried disabling all plugins on our site except woocommerce and elementor. We still get redirected to the cart page with nothing.

Hope you can look into it and advise.

Order Failed: Payer needs to perform the following action before proceeding with

Yesterday I had the following on a new order flagged as failed: Payer needs to perform the following action before proceeding with payment. Order status changed from Pending payment to Failed.

But when I check my PayPal account the payment has gone through OK and marked as completed.

Anyone know why this has happened?

I’m using WordPress 6.2.2, WooCommerce 7.7.0 and WooCommerce Paypal Payments 2.0.4

Order failed even after successful payment in Payu plugin

I am using Woocommerce and Payu(as my payment gateway).

After updating the woocommerce recently what happening is-
customer are able to purchase product but its showing order failed just after the payment being done. Admin is receiving two emails, one is from payment gateway saying Payment received successfully another email is from Woocommerce saying order failed. This is happening without any reason. It’s just happening like that only. I have contacted my hosting and payment gateway already but found no sign of fault on both the ends. Even my developer is unable to fins any issue as all seems good. And therefore, you guys are my final hope to get this resolved.

Can you please check and confirm.

Stripe paypment notification issue

I received a failed payment notification. Checked in Woo and the transaction had completely successsfully. The activity log and transaction detail did show there was an error, but the order completed anyway.
I spoke with Stripe who looked at the transation and said the customer failed 3D Secure, but the customer then updated the payment intent. I guess this is what triggered a failed order email?

This has happended a few time recently with different customers.

Is it something I should try and fix, if so is the fix with Stripe or Woo. Any ideas as to what needs to be done?

Square Payment Failed

What does this mean and how do I correct the issue? Where do I RENEW this token?

Square Payment Failed (Status code ACCESS_TOKEN_EXPIRED: The provided OAuth access token has expired. You must renew the access token via the Renew Access Token endpoint.)

I disconnected the square account within the settings and then reconnected. Everything seems to be working now, but i need to know why this is happening.

Ok to trash failed orders?

I have a handful of failed orders where a customer tried to order something but their credit card issuer declined the charge for some reason. I’ve kept the orders around in case the customer returned and tried again. But quite a while has now passed and they haven’t retried their orders. Is there any reason not to just move those failed orders to the trash?

Hi, a customer tried to purchase something on my website, her billing address wasn’t correct so the order shows up as Failed on my end in Woocommerce, with the message below, but she was still charged.
Questions:
* What am I to do next? What’s going on?
* Where is the customer’s money now?
* How can she get her money back?
* In my WooCommerce -> Settings -> Payment section I have WooCommerce Payments enabled. Is that still linked to Stripe? Should I be able to see my future orders on my Stripe account? If not, where will I be able to see the collected money before it gets payed out to me final business bank account?

Message in my Woocommerce orders section:
A payment of ￡57.85 failed. We couldn’t verify the postal code in the billing address. If the issue persists, suggest the customer to reach out to the card issuing bank.

PayPal Payment Successful, but shows failed in WC?

Hi guys had a few of these last couple of days where a payment is in PayPal but shows payment failed in WooCommerce.

Is this a known bug or is there anything I can check or do? Some orders are slipping thorough the net or customers are ordering twice which is causing a lot of confusion.

Customer charged for failed order

Hey,

One of our customer orders is showing as failed due to a postcode mismatch, normally this doesn’t cause any further issues but this user is reporting that they have an outstanding payment in their account. We don’t have any payments from this transaction nor a transaction ID in our account to refund so we can be sure we haven’t received the payment.

The order status is currently set as failed and didn’t reduce stock or get set to completed at any point, I’m wondering if setting this order to cancelled will force the bank to cancel the pending charge on the users account?

If not how do I know when the customer will no longer see the incorrect charge on their statement?

Payment was via Credit card / debit card via standard WooCommerce checkout.
