I’ve been looking at the functionality of the WordPress core “Export Personal Data” tool, and I realized that the exported data for a registered user doesn’t include any indication of posts or pages they’ve authored, only comments and media. This seems like a pretty substantial omission — am I missing something, or does the core tool really not provide any way of exporting that information?
]]>I just made a check if the personal data request process via. the wordpress core feature (in the admin space) is working. But it seems not to work, the delivered (exported json data) is not valid, and if I follow the delete process instead, the entries just are not deleted. Could it be that there is some integration to that core feature missing?

]]>I removed the whole options from “Backend Menu” except: “Site Health”. However, I’m seeing this two:
“Export Personal Data” and “Erase Personal Data”.
Right now I’m trying to hide: “Export Personal Data”. Somewhere I found that the name of this capability is: “export_others_personal_data”. So, I added as a new capability and then I removed from the role, where I want to remove it.
However, the menu is still appearing. How can I hide it?
Thanks
Best regards

Thank you for this excellent plugin!
Are you planning to integrate it with the GDPR core export tool which has been implemented in wp version 4.9.6 (Dashboard > Tools > Export Personal Data)?
This means that the titles, dates, urls (and maybe excerpts) of a user’s submitted posts should appear on their report if they ask for it.
Some GDPR plugins integrate other plugins in a global report. They could probably integrate USP. The most popular ones are:
WP GDPR Compliance
and
GDPR
Your plugin has a GDPR feature but this is only for consent. I think that this is not enough. Posts are not personal data per se, but they may contain information which may identify persons directly or indirectly (it depends on the nature of the site). So in some cases posts may be considered personal data (for ex. a site where users present personal projects).
What are you thinking about?
]]>This plugin is still not GDPR compliant….
I was just wondering if Icegram have implemented the change yet, to allow the core worpress search to export personal data from the subscribers list (es_emaillist table)?
i.e. under dashboard admin sidebar – menu item tools/export personal data.
As this is a key part of GDPR and it does not seem to be picked up by both the core wordpress Data Export Request, or their mandatory GDPR true knowledge plugin..

]]>[<site_name>] Confirm Action: Extract Personal Data
[<site_name>] Personal Data Export
Is there a filter available for editing the verbiage of these e-mails? I want to maintain the functionality of each one, but the “Howdy” tone is a little too casual for some of my clients/sites. I would also like to change the ending (“Regards, All at <site_name>”) to have some specific contact information.
]]>Since WordPress 4.9.6 if a user according to the new GDPR regulation in the EU wants to retrieve his/her data, he can do so by requesting the webmaster to send him an e-mail first to confirm the request and then after the user confirms the request, the webmaster resends him/her a link with his/her data in the site.
The problem is that when we use All In One WP Security & Firewall’s setting: Brute Force -> Rename login page and say we change it to https://mysite.com/the_admin; instead for the user to go to a page with a confirmed message after he/she clicked the confirm link in his/her email, it shows him/her the login page! Disabling this option, the export works as it supposed to.
This is what it should show: https://s7.postimg.cc/5dpcv5z8b/wordpress-privacy-export-confirm.jpg
This should really be fixed, as the rename login page is used by alot of people.
]]>I would like to know how to let visitors fill a form and then handle their own submissions (export, delete, view).
I did some tests but I don’t know how to achieve this, even though the plugin’s description page states it’s possible to.
Thank you in advance.
