I came across the “GDPR-Compliant ReCaptcha for all Forms” plugin, and it seemed too good to be true. I couldn’t believe there was one that would work with Thrive Architect. I tried it out, and it immediately started blocking spam form submissions, but not my own. However, it started causing other issues, such as my inability to manage my websites from my ManageWP dashboard. Plus, a few other things were not working either. However, all of the issues mentioned here were user error.
If I had paid more attention to Matthias in his intro video, I would have used the plugin in “Explicit” mode and identified the exact action (associated with form submission) and had the plugin only targeting that action. With Matthias’ generous help, I configured the plugin correctly (it was easy), and now automated spam submissions are stopped in their tracks, and everything else is working fine. A+
Bless you Matthias for creating this sorely needed plugin – and making it available for free!

I don’t know that much about this so I apologize if this is not a WP Customer Reviews issue.
(By the way I love this plugin)
Thanks.
]]><itunes:explicit>clean</itunes:explicit>
I also set it per episode and those set properly. This is an issue as podcast readers and specifically itunes view it as clean at the root level and this is not true. How do I go about rectifying this?
]]>two questions.
I am still using episode numbers. Now I updated one of my episode titles as a trial run to see if it would update the episode title in apple. Its been several months but apple never updated the title. How do I change episode titles of episodes that are already live and have the podcast directories notice this change?
Also, is there a way to mark single episodes as explicit? My newest episode contains some explicit words, but the previous ones dont. Is there a way to rate single episodes as E?
thanks

It’s up to you to decide whether this is relevant with regard to GDPR.

]]>I started podcasting some days ago and now I have a suggestion for iTunes integration: I’ve seen that podcasts of many well-known DJs are marked as “Clean”.
The podcasts of Talla 2XLC or Markus Schulz are a good example on that.
The plugin’s states are
<itunes:explicit>no</itunes:explicit>
(default) and
<itunes:explicit>on</itunes:explicit>
(when ticked),
but Apple’s Podcast specifications only allow
<itunes:explicit>clean</itunes:explicit>
and
<itunes:explicit>yes</itunes:explicit>
.
I know it would be a hassle to change that on already existing installations so just a small idea for replacing it “on the fly”: If the database field “Explicit” contains anything except “on”, the output to the feed should be “clean”. If it is “on”, it could be replaced by “yes”. New default should be “clean”.
What do you think about that?

Again, Explicit on Feed Details is checked, but when I submit to iTunes and view the XML from the feed, I can see the <itunes:explicit> tag is set to No. The individual episode explicit tags are fine.
Any ideas? Thanks so much!
