For the last several days I have been trying to add new events to my calendar. I get a message that the event has been added to the calendar, but the event does not show. Tried with several different dates and events.

I get an email that says “new event added” and shows this: New Event: {title}: {date}, {time} – {event_status}

Events not showing since plugin updates yesterday

I am using The Events Calendar Pro with Divi Events Calendar. Yesterday I updated The Events Calendar and The Events Calendar Pro. The Events do not show at all since the update.

We were hoping to roll the site out to members today so bad timing really.

I disabled Divi Events Calendar and so reverted back to The Events Calendar default page and the events do not show.

I also have tickets open with Divi Events Calendar and Elegant Themes.

Any ideas please?

404 Error on Events Pages

We recently updated our events pages and since the update we have had continuous issues with the calendar showing however when you click on the event, the 404 page appears.

I have reset permalinks and it still reverts back after a day or 2, I have changed the slug to try resolve it and it still seems to be occurring.

Please advise the next step to try fix this issue ASAP.

Automatic approval of frontend event submission

As an admin I can submit an event on the front end section and it shows. However when any of the other users or members submit an event on the frontend it does not show up. On the backend it shows published but it is not showing on the calendar. I have scoured through every item on the backend and do not see anything that would, 1) approve them automatically and 2) show published events by users / contributors. This is a membership site so anyone who can see the create an event can post an event and it needs to be automatically approved if at all possible. Any ideas on what is wrong?

We’ve been using the events calendar for a few years and we are fairly happy with it. However, today we added a new event and it does not show any (future or past events). Please assist.

Events not showing on desktop

Hey!
I have wordpress 5.5 and the latest version of event calendar. I can see my event on mobile but on desktop and tablet no events are visible. It is also not possible to switch to list mode

Events not showing after upgrade to 5.0.1

The site is for a music association.
After upgrading to latest version of all my plugins, including EVENTS 5.0.1, all past events have disappeared from the page showing them. Events are tagged by year (2020, 2019, 2018) with separate categories for events we publicise but don’t run ourselves (2020 not ours, 2019 not ours etc…).
There is only one future event (2020), and this shows in the list for only category 2020, but also in the list for category (2020 not ours) – don’t know why.
All the events that are in the past are no longer shown in any of the blocks that have the corresponding category tag.

I have checked with all possible plugins disabled (I could not disable AVADA Fusion Core and Fusion Builder without getting PHP errors). Also with Theme Twenty Seven. The problem still recurs.

The president of the association is very concerned as our AGM is this Saturday, so lots of people will be accessing the site.

Events not showing tried everything

Events will just no show on the front end I have tried everything recommended below…
1- Update permalinks from dashboard > Settings > Permalinks

2- Update events and shortcodes again

3- Remove filter options from shortcodes

4- Check the events not to be expired

5- Featured images for events in Carousel shortcode

6- Deactivate all your plugins and let the MEC remain active only, set your theme on default, then reload the page, if the issue was solved, then activate your plugins one by one and your theme, refresh your page and check to see which plugin is causing the issue. Please let us know the results.

Only One Category (Event) is displaying

Hi,

First – we have not updated to WP5.0 yet – we have not done any updates yet this week. (We were waiting for a few days to see how the 5.0 rollout goes).

However, only one of our “Events” (MYOB – Mind Your Own Business) is appearing on the calendar.

We have several scheduled events that occur on a daily basis. So this is not normal.

There has been no difficulty using the calendar. No error messages have popped up for the administrator who uses it.

But as of yesterday none of our other events/shows are appearing on the front of the calendar.

WOuld you have any suggestions about what we can do to solve this?

I can see the calendar events when logged in, but I’m not the calendar shows empty.
