Using #_EVENTLINK as a true link?

This site is designed where I’m using an Events Manager list as my primary page. I’m showing everything on the individual event listing down to a ‘ReadMoreTag’ I’m using on each page.

WE all know that if you want to view the complete page you would click on the EventLink. But I’d like to simplify and have a single small button at the bottom of each event (on the list) that you would click on and it would load the full event page.

I was trying to figure if I could do this using the ‘#_EVENTLINK’ identifier but that might be a bit far fetched.

Any thoughts? (And thanks)

Override EVENTLINK URL

Hello –

I am using Event Manager with the Import Eventbrite Plugin. I would like to override the EVENTLINK ULR so that it points to the Eventbrite Event page instead of the Event Manager event page. I found where the EVENTLINK is building the URL in the event.php file. I would like to construct the ULR to include “/eventbrite-event/” in the URL instead of just “/event/”. That update should point to a new page. However, the code currently uses get_permalink, and I just need to append with get_post_title (i think). But building URLs with PHP is not my strong point. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi!

I’d like to have the possibility of customize the event link fields…at the moment the #_EVENTLINK is automatic and the link aim to the event’s page.

I need to change this link and make it aim to specific pages of my website.
For example I have an event about Yoga, I want the event link to aim to my yoga page.

How can I achieve that ? Custom fields ( what? ) or attribute ?

Listing Events under Specific Categories on Events Page

On the default Events page, there is a simple table that lists events for specific days, but using the #_EVENTLINK code.

I have two categories: Walking Tours and Photo Tours. Each category has hourly tours that happen every day, which means I have about 8-10 hourly tour “events” for EACH category. (So on any given day, the customer can see 20 or so tour times to pick from.

Using the default EVENTLINK format, ALL tours from both categories show up, mixed together, which makes it difficult for my customer to see the categories and tour times.

Is it possible to separate out the event/tours by category and list all EVENTLINK for that category, that day below?

Change link on post meta box

On my Category page with list of events like this one:

I have a problem with the Event link in the grey meta box.
The link on the images AND the link on the Title of the event just under the image are both fine BUT not the link in the grey meta box where a date is diplayed (the date of the event) This links to a different archive and gives me LOTS of 404’s

HOW do I change this link to math the other two that correctly links to the “eventname” (postname) as specified in permalinks.
