One event out of order on single event page navigation

On the previous/next events links at the bottom of the single event page, one event is showing up out of order, a past event dated 12/16/23 — it’s showing up between a 1/20/24 event and a 2/17/24 event. Any idea why that might be happening? Everything else seems properly ordered. Thanks!

Order of events is backwards in agenda view

When I am not logged into my website, my events are being displayed with the furthest away date event first and the soonest event last, which is opposite from what you’d expect. I want my soonest event to show first.

Then, when I log into my WordPress site, the order of the events changes and it shows the soonest event first and furtherest away last.

Does anyone else notice this and have a fix? I’d like what I see when logged in to be the way it is all the time. The next upcoming event first in the list.

I am using the most recent version of the free plugin. My events are shown in the Agenda view.

In the case were multiple events occur on the same day, in Agenda view, how are they ordered. It does not appear to be by Post Date, and I fear that it is by ID, which is impossible to change.

Can anyone confirm?
Is there a work around at all?

At least if it is by Post Date, these could be modified to achieve an outcome.

Event Chronological Order Problem

Hello,

I’m having issues where the events are not in order by date. The last event shown on the page was added last, and I was under the impression it would filter in chronological order, instead of order it was created by.

Is there a way for events to be shown by date and not by order it was created?

Order of Events in Main Blog

There was a previous thread on this topic which is now closed.
I tried the solutions on that closed thread but to no avail.
The two posts in the example URL provided here stubbornly remain fixed in order.
I have tried the extension plugin “The Events Calendar Extension: Main Blog Loop” to no avail.

I have tried several if the free WP themes as well, such as Twenty Fifteen etc, but order remains incorrect.

Any assistance appreciated.

If i want to order the list of events by start date, how do I do that? In your documentation it shows that “orderby” can be set to order by title, ID, name, modified, parent, rand. I want events to be ordered by when they actually happen, not by when they were posted or modified.

Event Order

Hello,

I’m running Events calendar and Pro 4.3.4, on the site 4mfit.com.

When I go to the schedule -> scroll down and click “view all X events” -> scroll down and click “next day”; the events on this page are all out of order.

Is there any way to change the order? Is this a bug?
