I added the plugin (free version) and want to add a widget to the footer of my website that shows the 2 or 3 upcoming events. But i can’t seem to find a widget code or anything to do this – any suggestions?

Hi there,
although I studied a lot of threads and tutorials, I can’t get the clou of it.
I want to display an additional field – event format – to my event-list widget.

I copied already wp-content/plugins/the-events-calendar/src/views/widgets/list-widget.php to a new created directory:
/wp-content/themes/lifestyle-pro/tribe-events/pro/
And now I don’t know how to modify the file.
Would you please show me the needed code?

event list widget, event expiry time

Hello,
I’m using the event list widget. A client of mine as asked to make sure that the events don’t disappear from the widget list until the end of the event, in case some people want to come late or register late, but it looks like they disappear once the event begins.
Is there any way to change this?

Events not showing in widget

Events are not showing in the event list widget. They are showing on the events page. I’ve tried deleting and re-adding the widget. Also tried adjusting the number of events displayed. Just says no upcoming events at this time.

I am using the Event Calendar. I have added Event List widget to the primary sidebar. However, it does not display the event name on the sidebar and only the date. May I know how to fix it?

Event List Widget and Recurring Events

If a recurring event is displayed in the event list widget, the event repeats the start date for the first event for every occurrence. For example I have a Cafe meeting every Sunday for a month and the list only shows “September 7,2014” four times for meeting that occurs on the 14th,21st,and 28th.
