I was able to log into it, and everything is updated. I perform the CleanTalk Malware Scanner and got two different codes:
First was:
The error occured
Internal server error
Stage: auto_cure
I tried again and got this code:
The error occurred
Internal server error
Stage: get_cms_hashes
Please help
I am getting a “403 Forbidden Access to this resource on the server is denied!” error on only a couple posts when trying to either update those posts or even preview the changes.
On all other pages and posts (about 100 others) everything works as it should.
I have tried the usual culprits like a bad .htaccess file, disabling ModSecurity, disabling plugins , caching and tried everything I could think of and found doing some searches on other sites with no fix found.
I have checked with my host and there is nothing on their side causing the error.
It is strange because the rest of the pages and everything in the admin side works properly. The error is only on a couple posts.
If anyone has any ideas what to check next it would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance for any helpful input.
]]>I have an old wordpress site that I havent kept up to date properly, which is totally my issue. However, I accessed it last week due to some security issues that came from not having updated a plugin. I accessed the site and the wordpress dashboard with no issues and updated all out of date plugins. I then could no longer access the site or the login page. There is clearly an issue, but without being able to access the dashboard I’m unsure how to address it. I know in the past there has been ways to access the dashboard through maintenance mode/s or different login pages. I’m unsure how to go about this though and really hoping someone can help as I would like to fix the site and secure the data that is held within it.
Complicating things, I cannot seem to contact the hosting provider (ugh). It is through panthur but held by another retailer who is not responsive so panthur can’t help (much to my frustration of course).
I hope someone is able to help?
Thanks a lot.

My site is still up and online but I cannot access the admin side of anything. When I log in I get the error message above. How do I fix this?
]]>It seems this is a recent issue, but would you be able to assist us as well. I’m doing this for a Client.
We’ve been able to get it to work if we enable passthrough but would like to make sure it works with the .htaccess as well.
Look forward to hearing from you.

but i get this error. how do i solve?

I can install the “Visual Composer”, by WPBakery just as my New Visual Plugin, but that becomes then simply a separate plugin in my WP backend, and has so far not helped me avoid the issue with the New Visual Composer.
Can anyone explain what seems to be going on with “New Visual Composer” – has it been discontinued and there’s no way at all to even auto-convert my settings for it to a newer plugin, or is there indeed a way to update that plugin still, or to convert it?
*Note, I can find sometimes people referring to Visual Composer as the “new Visual Composer”, but this seems to often be related to the “Visual Composer”, and not to the separate Plugin with the official name “New Visual Composer” in my WP backend (afaik..).
