I have two questions.
1. How can I show the title of Link post types above the post in the sidebar? The article is shown but without the title.
2. Video links have some accompanying text but how do display the video only on the homepage/sidebar?
]]>My website uses the Ephemera widget in the sidebar to let people play meditation music while browsing the site. The whole point is for people to get a feel for my organization through music, not just text and images. But I need a way to keep the music playing. Right now, every time you click on a new page, the music stops!
I like that the Ephemera widget works in all browsers and relies on users to turn it on. But I would love the little “play” buttons to open a new tab, so they don’t lose the sound as they browse the site.
My site-in-development is interfaithspirit.com and it’s password-protected under the password blessings1
Thanks so much! I don’t have much time left and really need to solve this!
]]>However, the share seems to be the center article rather than the article in the Ephemera.
This is when viewing a single post.
Is there any setting or workaround that I can use?
I’d prefer to just not have the share links in the Ephemera, but if that isn’t possible, I’d like to have them point to the article being displayed in the Ephemera rather than the main article.

]]>I’m using my WordPress site as a magazine with the Twenty Fourteen theme. The problem is that whenever I publish a new post, wordpress display it in the main blogroll of my front page.
I want some post formats (like “video”, “gallery” or “audio”) to display ONLY into the Ephemera widget area (aligned to the right side of the screen), leaving the “latest posts” blogroll of my front page for the big reportages.
And I need to do all of that without any plugin, because my blog is not hosted on a dedicated server or a local server. So, I need some CODE to do that.
Thanks in advance!
]]>If I understand this correctly:
a) JetPack’s “Display WordPress Posts Widget” relies upon Twenty Fourteen’s builtin “Ephemera Widget” to display posts imported from an OUTSIDE blog.
b) The Ephemera Widget has a setting to choose different Post Formats (Aside, Image, Video, Audio, Quote, Link, Gallery). Notably it does NOT have the “Standard” post format.
c) The Ephemera Widget, by design, does NOT display the Social Sharing Icons at the bottom of each post within the sidebar/widget.
d) As a result, when using the “Display WordPress Posts Widget”, if an imported post is using anything OTHER than the “Standard Format”, the Social Sharing Icons are NOT displayed. But the reverse is true: If an imported post USES the “Standard Format”, the Social Icons WILL be shown at the bottom of each post within the sidebar/widget.
QUESTION:
Is there any way to force the “Display WordPress Posts Widget” to ignore the Social Sharing Icons on ALL post formats, including the Standard Format?

]]>I have a plugin installed that’s called Pagebar2 and it replaces the “older post/newer post” with numbers of the the actual pages. The issue is that I have these number twice shown on my blog. Once at the bottom of the page, where I want it and the other is at the bottom of the Ephemera “aside” articles. How do I remove it from there?
]]>Today, however, I noticed that the ephemera widget displays videos at the same size I’ve applied in the post, and that’s no good.
I want the widget video to be the same size as it was before, but the video in the post (post-format = video) itself should have a huge video (1260x709px).
Does anybody know the css to fix this?
