API returns non-empty table as empty

Hello, I am trying to GET data from Woocommerce API. I have succesfully got Orders, Product and Coupon data. But when I try to get Customers data I get empty response even though in woocommerce I can see there are over 3k customers in database.

How do I fix that to get correct output from the API? Somewhere on the forum I saw that the problem might be with how the server is set up. But I don’t know anything about fixing that.

Another bad feeling I have is that in Orders there is only about 10 unique IDs in reference to Customers.

WP REST call works in postman but not on actual site

Hello all!

I am playing around with the WordPress REST Api and I encountered a problem I couldn’t solve so far:

I am trying to retrieve all comments for a specific post. The endpoint for that is /wp-json/wp/v2/comments?post=1234. When trying this API call in Postman it is working just fine. I put my credentials in as Basic Auth and I’ll get an array of comments as the response.

When I am using this exact same API call on my actual site (I am developing on my local machine, so localhost) I’ll get an empty array. It is a successful request returning a 200 status. When checking the headers the authorization is sent correctly.

I tried many different ways to make the API call: jQuery ajax, XMLHttpRequest, etc.. all variants returned an empty array while being a successful call.

What might be the problem here..?

Elementor Empty Response Error

So I transferred my website from a local server using MAMP to a Go Daddy server by exporting my old site and importing it, then downloading all of the plugins. It took awhile but I finally have two separate sites. So I used Elementor to build the old site. I thought my old site would just be able to transfer smoothly. But now whenever I go to a page and click on “Edit with Elementor,” it brings up an error page saying “myaspirelife.com did not send any data. ERR_EMPTY_RESPONSE” I really have no idea what to do.

Empty Response / Can’t Update Specific Old Posts

I have an ongoing issue that I can’t resolve.

On a few specific old posts, I often get an empty response error and I’m unable to update the post after making slight edits. i’ve tried numerous things like repairing the database, deleting revisions, different browsers, testing plugins, etc, but nothing seems to work. It really only happens on a few select posts that were created a few years ago. Strangely, if I duplicate the content and publish them in a new post, the problem doesn’t occur, so it doesn’t appear to be a resources issue. Additionally, the error only occurs sporadically — sometimes it will give the empty response, and other times it will update correctly.

I want to maintain the posts since they get a lot of organic traffic, otherwise I’d just recreate them.

Any ideas would be appreciated!

Hi there

When activating the plugin in WordPress 4.7.3 on a server running PHP7 the site throws an ERR_EMPTY_RESPONSE error – it fails in all browsers.

Disabling the plugin brings the site back up, enabling it breaks it again.

Nothing in the PHP logs indicates why this happens.

Any idea why?

Page Isn't Working

I am trying to make changes to a website. I am able to log in and look at the dashboard. When I go to save the changes I have made it tries to load for a couple of minutes then it gives me an error page that says “page isn’t working, didn’t send any data”. I am able to make changes from other computers in our office but not from my computer in my office? I have cleared all my history and cache and it still won’t work. Any suggestions on how to fix this problem?

If I enable the plugin everything works fine until I select related posts for a post. When i navigate to it I get: No data received ERR_EMPTY_RESPONSE;

I really need this plugin to work for my website. Thank you in advance

Front and Back end return empty response after update

After updating we experience intermittent empty responses. If I restart apache (service apache2 restart), the site comes back up. But after only 1 or 2 requests, it is back down again and I have to restart apache again.

There are no errors in the apache error log and syslog doesn’t give any hints either.

Empty response every once in a while

I really enjoyed Quick Cache, but for some reason it returned “empty response” according to Chrome every once in a while. (maybe even 1/10 refreshes).

After I saw the same thing happening to google crawlers I had to disable Quick Cache and everything went back to normal.

Does anyone know what’s this about?

Hi,

I successfully installed WP on silkscreenfestival.org/wordpress yesterday. Had the site up, it went live (it was already populated from a test server). This morning I am getting ERR_EMPTY_RESPONSE, with no major changes on my end. I can’t see the site or WP Admin. i’ve had others outside my home try to view it and no one can. A WP programmer friend checked out my install, config & index.php files and declared them to be in working order and suggested it was a server issue.

Hosting support at MediaTemple gave me some tips on htaccess structure and told me it wasn’t their problem. Everything online suggests that it probably is.

Does anyone have any insight into this?
