2022 – is this plugin still supported ?

This plugin does not show current for version 5.9 and version 6.0 is being released tomorrow.

Is this plugin still useable, supported?
Is it safe to use with current Woocommerce version 6.5.1 and WordPress 5.9 or 6.0 ?

Hi!

I created doggymeister.de with Woocommerce, eMember and Mollie. Then I changed the texts for emails in the settings. When I order a product 2 things are happening:

1. the email I receive doesn’t contain the text I wrote. How to change this?
2. in the back end it says that the order is in process. When the customer has paid through Mollie then s/he should receive an email that the requested course can be taken. Where I go wrong?

Woocommerce, Mollie, eMember

Hello,

We are romping with Woocommerce (and Mollie and WP eMember) and cannot resolve it.

We want to offer courses. We have the following order in mind:
1. the student chooses a course (Woocommerce)
2. the student pays for the course (Mollie)
2a. student sees a ‘checkout’ page that looks terrible but works
2a. student will receive an email
3. the student should now go directly to the 1st lesson page (page protected by WP eMember)
4. the student may leave and needs to login when coming back. Then directed to where s/he left the last time

Points 1 and 2 are fine.
Point 2a: how can I change this?
Item 2b: I tested live 3 times (the Test product) and I did not receive an email. The ‘Enable e-mail notification’ is checked in the back end. What else am I supposed to do?
Point 3 does anyone know how I can get this done?
Point 4 no idea yet if that works

eMember issue with WP and logged in/logged out header menus

I’m using WP 4.21 hosted on siteground.com
Currently using eMember v8.9.4
Avada Themes v3.7.1

I am having cache like issues where the logged in user is not respected across all protected pages. In addition I have different header states that use some php to show different header states depending on your logged in state. I’ve confirmed that it’s not my server cache causing this issue. I have reinstalled WP and my plugins and using both secret mode on chrome and Safari, still see the undesirable behavior

steps to recreate issue

1. I logged in using tester , test on page url: https://sryc.net/commodores-page/?event=login , which was the first time I have used that test account to log in.
2. I saw the proper behavior with the header changing states across all pages correctly.
3. I logged out
4. Log in user tester, test on page url: https://sryc.net/membersdirectory/?event=login
5. Protected content is viewable but the header state is still in the logged out state showing login|register
6. Navigate to page url: https://sryc.net/commodores-page/ and the content is not visible

I tried this with both the test account and another account across both Safari and Chrome and got the same behavior

Hello,
Can i have a custom access control for file download?

I use eMember plugin to protect member area and i’d like to use Download manager for file download. When downloading a file, I want that Download manager to check if the user is logged in as an eMember and only then to give access to that file.

Do you have some hook to add custom function to check access or any solution?

Clickbank Integration Issue

I have been trying to narrow down what to do, to get clickbank integration working with this software.

I have tried whitelisting the IP, removing the spam plugin from checking inside plugin folders, and removing all header checks.

How can I whitelist this url?

Coincidentally, stopping the spam plugin allowed the test to go through, but also allowed some 5-10 spams to leak through in less then 5 minutes.

OptimizePress and Emember plugins conflict

Hi,

I have eMember installed as a membership script. I have comments option allowed in Optimize press settings and the discussion for wordpress as well. When I attempt to make a comment inside the members area and also in the main website I get a “comments not allowed” message.

I have the latest version of emember, and version 1.62 of OptimizePress

Can you help with this please?
