Embed Plus breaking wedsite formatting with Astra theme

The last two months or so I have been having trouble with the Embed Plus plugin and Astra theme. After an update in November/December, I encountered the issue. I turned all plugins off and on one by one to determine that the issue is in face Embed Plus.

The issue is when I have the plugin activated, the formatting of my website gets completely changed, especially with the location of a widget in my sidebar on my single blog post pages. I have a player with a 3 thumbnail gallery that used to sit fine in my sidebar. Now, when I activate the plugin, the formatting of the blog post page becomes very incorrect. The body of the page, which should take up 70%, becomes only 20% of the page, the comment section that should be at the bottom is in the centre at the top, and then the sidebar is larger (still on the right), at maybe 40% of the page.

This only started happening a few months ago. I decided to revert my website and wait until different updates for the theme and plugin came out. I tried again last week and the same issue persists. I contacted Astra and they informed me to contact Embed Plus to confirm if there are others that have encountered this issue. I require the issue to host my YouTube channel within my website, so it’s very important to have this plugin at various points throughout my website.

Is this a known issue? Is there a fix for it? What are the suggestions for fixing? Thank you so much!

Conflict with Divi

I recently relaunched a site and I wanted to use EmbedPlus to show off a couple of YouTube Galleries on the Work page. However, when the plugin is activated, Divi is remarkably slow. Some pages like the Home Page and Blog wouldn’t load completely and the background video on the homepage (hosted on our own servers, not YouTube), wouldn’t run. Not like we’re running a lot of plugins either. Elegant Themes Updater, FontAwesome, WordFence and Yoast. That’s it.

So what is causing the conflict and is there a fix?

Mobile Fullscreen strange behavior

Finally down to the last element of our new home page, featuring your excellent Embed Plus. We’re using OceanWP for theme and the home page is built with Elementor. Playing videos on desktop, on page or fullscreen works just fine, very well.
On mobile, fullscreen:

Xiaomi Mi Max 3 / Android 9PKQ1.181007.001 / doesn’t work (2x same phone tested)
Chrome 81.0.4044.138 website jumps up a full screen
Downgraded to Chrome 77… same result, also fails

Sony Xperia XA Ultra (F3125) / Android 7.0 / works
HTC M8x / Android 6 / works

Any testing I can do to help, just let me know please. Am trying to finish this website this week!

Hi, I seem to be running into an issue with the new way Google sets up their API Keys and credentials. I got the API Key restricted to YouTube Data API v3 and set to the correct domain and wildcards, but I still get the error: “The referrer https://www.googleapis.com/youtube/v3/playlistItems?part=snippet,status&playlistId=UUwyvabSvMdhShkik56mHoLw&maxResults=10&key=AIzaSyADkIWFRgdAWQsIlgNTFg9XmJtwPaUy2sY does not match the referrer restrictions configured on your API key. Please use the API Console to update your key restrictions.”

Any idea on what I’m doing wrong here?

Hi, it looks like I posted in the wrong version of this plugin.

For non-logged in users, I’m getting an error thrown whenever I try to view the next page of the gallery playlist I set up, evidenced here: https://flushinghouse.com/media/videos.

embed plus on IPad

I am having an issue with the Youtube plugin from Embed Plus when embedding a playlist. When viewing on the IPhone, or IPad, the dropdown is only showing the first four, or five video links before it crops. It works perfectly on the PC. Test page can be seen here

Is this a known issue, or have I set it up incorrectly?
