Restrict downloads to email only for digital products

My goal is to prevent somebody from downloading a free digital product at the order receipt page when they enter a fake email address. My solution would be to remove the product download link from the order receipt page and require the customer to wait for the actual email confirming their order.

Any help or recommendation would be appreciated.

Email lock extension not working

Hi there,

I am currently using the download monitor with the email lock extension. On the staging site the email lock works perfectly and I’m able to download the brochure .pdf. But on the live site the email lock extension will not work. I’ve had WP Engine cache exclude the download links but it’s still not working on the live site. Any help or guidance would be greatly appreciated.

I would like to include a shortcode for an email lock download in a post.

I followed the description on https://www.download-monitor.com/extensions/email-lock/, but it seems like that it still doesn’t work.

The page https://techonomy.nl/presentaties/ doesn’t show any files that can be downloaded after using the shortcode: [dlm_email_lock id=X]

Before I buy the pro version,
I was wondering if the pro version have the following function:

Some downloads are email locked, and some are not. When someone fills in his/her emailaddress for one download, is it possible to not ask again for the emailaddress for the rest of the email locked downloads?

Email lock file popup not accessible

Can you tell me why the popup box is coming up in a non-accessible window? It’s behind the screen almost faded out in black. Please take a look at the link below and click on download to see what I mean.
