Sorry i can’t include the site, I’m hosting it locally so I can’t really show it to you all.
Today my site lost a lot of its functionality. I can’t press the “view page” buttons while in the editor, the “edit site” shortcut in the dashboard doesn’t work and I can only edit the site with the “edit site” button on the top left while viewing the site. What’s really weird is the home page looks fine on the viewer, but when I try clicking the buttons to get to other pages it says “the requested URL was not found on this server”.
I also can’t do a lot of other things in the editor. The style is gone from the background, it can’t find the other pages for the header (says Page List: cannot retrieve pages) and the header also says “Site Title Placeholder” instead of my actual site title. Basically something is going super wrong with the editor where it’s missing like 75% of what should be on my site.
The actual viewing part of my site seems mostly fine except for the missing page connections.
Any ideas of what could be causing this?? The only thing I’ve changed recently was pasting from the backup folder in xampp/mysql/backup into xampp/mysql/data/ since that’s the fix for MySQL failing to run in xampp. I don’t think that should actually change anything with the site though since the backup folder doesn’t have the folder with the site database, only sql stuff.

I have cleared server cache with my hosting provide

removed all plugins, deleted, reinstalled

in the editor my site looks nice! Live site = trash

I contacted my hosting provider and they said it’s a developer issue. I reinstalled wordpress, still nothing. Please help I am so lost and this is killing me and my google ads by having a broken site

Content toggle title panel editing

The “content toggle” panel title is not editable. For some reason I am unable to access the title panel to add my text. Everything else on that works. I checked the HTML and I can’t find where to edit it within that editor either.

I’m using the new twenty-twenty two theme.

Steps to reproduce problem:
1 add content toggle to page.
Add content to the toggle section.
Attempt to click the panel title…
no access to edit panel title text on main screen.
no access to edit panel title on side panel editor.
no access to edit panel title in HTML

Block Editor Not Working

I am not able to add or edit blog posts. I’ve added a link to a photo for reference.

I have tried everything suggested: removing the cache, deactivating and reactivating the plugins, and updating to twenty one theme. Nothing has worked.

I am using the Genesis theme with Foodie Pro.

Does anyone have any other suggestions. Please use simple terms– not a tech genius here.

Editor is not showing correctly

On my website, it loads well. Im trying to find out why i cant use the editor. It loads the elementor menu on the left, but the page content is all messed up. Im not sure why this is happening, could any guide me to resolve it, i was considering trying Gutenberg, but couldnt get around there admin, and i like using Elementor.

WordPress 5.5 Editor Not Working

After updating to WordPress 5.2.3 yesterday the plugin now has an issue when trying to edit an event.

I get a page that says:

“The editor has encountered an unexpected error.”

With 3 buttons:

“Attempt Recovery” “Copy Post Text” “Copy Error”

Does anyone have any idea what could be causing this?

No editor is working

Every since update 5.1 I cannot keep my WP sites working!!! I own 9 different WP sites and I continue to have problems even after 5.1.1 update! The main issue is the editor! I can’t stand the default editor WP pushed and forced us to use after the 5.0 update, so I prefer Elementor or the classic editor. But none of the editors work for very long before I can’t add a post or page. If I go to add a post it goes to the white screen of death! If I install the classic editor plugin it will load the editor but then when I add my content and hit publish all my content disappears! I can’t keep any editor working since the 5.1 update!!! Not even updating to 5.1.1 helps!

Update to 1.5.0 has created JavaScript errors on page editing

This plugin on our website was updated to version 1.5.0 today.
This has created cascading JavaScript errors in the WordPress backend when adding/editing a post/page.

The problem was brought to us by our client who reported that the “Set Featured Image” link suddenly stopped working.
We then observed JavaScript errors from load-scripts.php
e.g.
Uncaught TypeError: _.pluck is not a function
Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property ‘hasClass’ of undefined at HTMLDocument.
etc
etc

Disabling the plugin and these errors go away.

Can you please advise of a fix to this.
