Question: the Shortcode option shows up only for the site Administrator.

How can I enable other users of my database (non-admins) to also have access to this plugin?

I tried searching the files for a place to change code, but can’t seem to find it.

Wrong capability for settings menu

Hello,

I noticed this plugins requires the capability edit_pages for access to its settings page. Is there any reason for this? Otherwise, all settings/options pages should require the capability manage_options because that’s what this capability is there for.

Currently, non-admin users can easily mess with the plugin’s settings because they have the edit_pages capability. I think you might need to address this.

Capabilities question: edit_pages vs. edit_others_pages

Just want to make sure, if I allow a user to edit_pages, that means that they can only edit the pages they have created, vs edit_others_pages means that say an editor can go in and make changes to other users pages

Editors have the ability to edit pages. Am I correct in assuming they’re supposed to be allowed to edit pages of all other members, even administrator?

Shouldn’t it be that they can edit their own and anyone else’s who is equal to or below them in the pecking order of users, and NOT administrators’ pages?

When I manage pages, only three of my five pages appear. No apparent differences in the pages, and I can’t seem to manipulate edit_pages.php to show the right pages.

Edit Pages – Limit to owner?

It was easy to limit page editing only to the page owner in 1.5. I’m trying to figure out how to enable the edit_pages role in 2.0 for a user, but not allow that user the ability edit ALL pages. This functionality exists for edit posts (edit_others_posts), but what about pages?
