Hi, I need to add some images attributes like width and height in home page. But I don′t know how to find the file that contains that info.

I see it in the source code, but I don′t find the php file to edit it.

I′ve tried with firebug and chrome inspect element but no way.

Can anyone help me?

Hello,

A friend of mine has a site that was developed by a designer that for reasons unknown stopped working on the site. He contacted me asking if I could help him remove the search feature from his home page. I was able to locate the search form but cannot find where it resides to edit or remove it. I cloned a copy of the site and have a live version at https://captainerik.com/bestbeach. He want to remove the search fields just below the FlexSlider. Instead of the search fields he wants it to say, Search our Vacation Rentals .

Removing google analytics from twenty fourteen

I would like to use analytics as a plug in rather than within a theme so that if I change themes I don’t lose analytics. I have this code in my site when I view the source code.

I believe this is for google analytics and might have been installed as an option when originally setting up the theme? Not sure how to remove this code (if this is that code?) so I don’t have the script in there twice? I can see the code using a browser but how do I get at it in WP? Please be very specific!

Also installed wpbeginner’s “install headers and footers” plugin and used that to put the analytics snippet into every page (and post?) of my site? I’m guessing since this is a plugin it will keep my analytics if I switch themes?
I am using twenty fourteen with a child theme at www.ashevilleontap.com
Thanks for any help in advance and please explain what you say in detail you won’t hurt my feelings.

unwanted # signs showing up on site

If I could get someone to look at https://www.ohlgrennetworktraining.com you’ll see two # signs on the far left of the page. For the life of me I cannot figure out how remove them. I know that they are somehow related to the Easy Rotator but I don’t think they should be visible. I cannot find a way to edit the source code within WordPress to remove them.

Can this even be done in WordPress? Or do I need to get into the ftp area, locate the file and edit through a txt editor like bbEdit.

heading that i don’t need. It is situated in the code somewhere after the banner code and the article code and it looks like this:
