I installed from the screatch wordpress (last version) and a Theme with Jeg Elemntor Kit
https://profecient.jegtheme.com/
Then I was working today to create my site.
And when I tried to edit posts, elementor returns an error.
https://elementor.com/help/the-content-area-was-not-found-error/?utm_source=editor-panel&utm_medium=wp-dash&utm_campaign=learn
The Learn more page goes to above page.
I installed a demo from Theme, and I had problems with pages, and the solution was to recreate permalinks.
For posts, I tried to recreate permalinks, I tried to change permalinks to plain. And nothing.
All times I have =the problem with “No Content Area”
Then I saw the templates, but they are not loading. I can’t use them, I can’t duplicate to create a post and edit after.
The help there is no information that can guide me how to use post template.
I need help.
Thank you
]]>It looks and functions perfectly OK when you access it as a viewer, but when I tried to get at it as an admin in the last few days in order to correct a minor typing error which I had just noticed, I got an error message saying “There has been a critical error on this website. Please check your site admin email inbox for instructions.” It’s the same whether I try to go in via Block editor or Classic editor. Quick edit is accessible but not useful. And no, it hasn’t emailed me any instructions.
I hadn’t actually tried to access it to edit it for some months, so I don’t know if this problem is connected with the most recent WordPress upgrade about a week ago, or already existed.
The only differences between this post and the other 19 are a) that it’s a very long one (but not the *only* very long one) and b) that it’s the only post whose name on the All Posts page is followed by — Classic editor rather than — Block editor. I don’t know why, because like most of my posts it consists mainly of standard blocks, with a few classic ones when I needed some kind of fancy format in a particular block. I’m guessing this is somehow the source of the problem – that it’s stuck in classic mode – but I can’t get into it to change it.
Any ideas how to fix this? I don’t want to have to remake the post, a) because it would take about 30 hours to reconstruct and b) because it has comments on it that I don’t want to lose.
]]>I am using WordPress 6.2.2 and a theme called houzez. I tried updating to the latest version but the error is still present. When I switch to the Twenty Twenty Three theme the error is not present but I am wondering what could of change as I have not updated my theme or anything and few days ago I was able to create edit new posts pages without any problem so I am looking for any tips or solutions. I have disabled all the plugins on my website and the issue is still present.
I’ve just create a profile page for the users in my site, than allow to see only his own created posts in a list with elementor query ID and this work’s fine. This list have an edit button for each post, than redirect to the edit form with the post_id in the url, for example: https://tradeclaimz.com/editar-tenencia/?post_id=2700
The issue is, if you change the post_id to another one who doesnt belong to the logged user, the user can edit or even delete the post.
I’ve created a custom role so I can edit the WP Capabilities and leave uncheck the “edit_others_posts” option, but this didn’t work (I’ve attach an screenshot). There’s any way to edit the capabilities for the default users?
Besides, if I’ve set the default registration role to this custom role, in the members list page, I can’t see the users.
I don’t know where to start looking.
Tnx inadvance!
I noticed that now every time we paste external content (let’s say Google Drive for example) in a blog post (edit screen) the images are automatically uploaded and added to the gallery with file names and titles like ‘image-2-2.png’.
This wasn’t happening before. Images stayed on the post as external images (with external links). In our case this is the desired behaviour.
Is there any way to disable WordPress to automatically upload external images when creating or updating a blog post?
Not sure when this started to work like that. Probably since Version 6.2
Thanks!

Can you guide me through this one.

]]>I currently use Frontend Admin Forms, a plugin that works in the Elementor editor, but I’m looking at replacing it because of support issues.
I have a form that creates a custom post called Photograph. That form has an image upload for the Featured Image, and some other fields. Once the user completes that form, it redirects to another page with another form where the user Edits the post created in the first step. The reason for this is that I load some JavaScript to do Face Detection and overlap the Featured Image displayed on the second form with boxes around the faces found.
The first form redirects to the second form and uses the ACF/Save_post hook to attach the ID of the post just created to the URL of the redirect, the second page has an edit post form picking up the ID from the URL to display some of the fields of the CPT and others for the user to input the details of the people found in the JavaScript.
The second form uses Acf Repeater fields to capture details for each of the people detected.
The second form then saves these changes and the CPT, Photograph, is complete.
Can your plugin achieve this requirement? Are there any tutorials I could review with anything similar?
Later the Photograph post can be edited by any user to change or complete the details.
