I have tried deactivating all plugins and reactivating them one at the time, but nothing has changed. Any other suggestions?
I’m not an expert, so I would appreciate simple and clear explanations. Many thanks in advance!
]]>Unfortunately, now when I try to go to the page section of /wp-admin for the site, all I see is:
“Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘<‘ in /home/content/33/4675533/html/test/wp-admin/edit-pages.php on line 349”
I can’t see anything about the pages. I did not edit any file called edit-pages.php, just the page.php file in the theme.
Any clues as to what I need to do to get the problem fixed?
Gosh, what should be a simple change (removing dates from static pages) is getting ridiculously time consuming.
Thanks in advance
]]>I figured out how to add the column headers manually, however I don’t seem to be able to get the values to populate.
Any ideas?
]]>The only issues I have is that I can not edit pages, which is the entire site – almost 2000 pages. When I try to access the edit page feature (wp-admin/edit-pages.php) I get a blank white page.
Also, when I try to add a new page (wp-admin/page-new.php), everything looks normal, except there is no input box. The dashboard menu links are on the left, and the publish and attribute boxes are on the right, but nothing is in the center of the page where there should normally be an input box for the title and content of the page.
I can add and edit posts, just not pages. I have disabled all plugins, renamed the plugin folder, used the default theme, renamed the theme, etc all to no avail. None of the common answers have worked.
I am using the new version of WP 2.8.4. I have analyzed and repaired the database in phpmyadmin to no avail. It shows no errors in the database. I have tried reinstalling wordpress several times, and even tried downgrading, all to no avail. I have tried upgrading database to a different version but that didn’t work either. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
]]>When I log into my WordPress admin panel I can not use the “Edit” page under the “Pages” tab. All I get is a white page!
HTTP 500 Internal Server Error
While trying to find a resolve to this issue I’ve tried everything that I’ve come across, deactivating all plugins etc. From what I’ve worked out so far its a database issue, this is where I begin to fail miserably!
When logging into the database via phpMyAdmin I actually tried removing all content in wp_contentposts and edit.php would load, so I’ve narroed the issue down to that table, and Im thinking it is only an issue with the pages, not the posts.
Without going into to much detail, I would like to be able to fix this without have to recreate pages as I have over 400 of them which call posts using “Inline Posts” plugin……
PS I also tried re uploading all WordPress system files
]]>In the admin section the wp-admin/edit-pages.php doesn’t load all pages, it stops loading after 120 pages and the footer doesn’t show either.
– I have a few hundred pages, but on wordpress.com it did load them in a few seconds.
– I don’t know if it is related, but when changing from wordpress.com (before version 2.5) to our own hosting, I did have some problems importing the posts. I had to cut up the import file a lot, even small ones did have problems, like there was a bad post or something that had to be filtered out. In the end it imported everything, but the edit-pages never worked.
– Locally in Xamp it does load them all, but it takes much longer than necessary.
– I already tried to delete the next one in line (page number 121), didn’t help.
Thank you for your time,
Riquard
Any ideas?
I can go to the pages displayed on the site and edit them from the edit link, but not convenient at all….
]]>My apologies if this has already been covered. I could not find it.
How can I set the order in which the Pages are listed in the edit-pages.php? When I go into the Admin section/Manage Pages all of the Pages I created seem to be listed in a random order. I have tried eliminating all plug-ins.
What is this listing based on by default and can it be modified. I thank you in advance.
