backend : can’t edit field in field group

within a group field, I can’t edit new or former created fields anymore. I can create a new one, but can’t edit. I can move it, delete it, duplicate it. I can access and change the settings of the field group. and i can create new field groups

it’s been maybe a year i had not upgraded ACF and i needed to change something (add a new field to a woocommerce product page).

(by the way is it necessary to use an API-key with ACF?

I’m using Estatic and I’m happy with it, but I have 2 problems that I don’t know how to solve:

I am translating my theme, but in the Edit field section of Estatic, I cannot edit the fields. How do I make them active so I can edit them?

I’ve set up a custom post with default values in some of the fields which I always want to be displayed at the front end (and these values can only be changed by admin).

Now I have been asked to change the default value I can obviously edit the pod field and any subsequent posts will reflect the new value but there are over 100 posts saved with the old value.

Is there any way I can force older posts to update to the new default without having to edit each one individually?

I have created a new field, one to put a numerical value that only I, the administrator, will complete, that is why that field does not have the “Can user edit this field?” Option checked. The problem is this, when the user wants to edit his profile he can see the field blocked but if he inspects the page and finds the field he can delete the option disable = “disabled” and he will be able to edit that modify the field and save the changes, Any way this does not happen?

Hi. I’ve searched the forum with nothing directly relevant.

I need to add some new fields to the Participant Info Fields, but once I’ve added the name of the new field, nothing is happening when I click the Add Field button.

The page updates but there is no new field added.

Any ideas?

Remove auto colon from the Instructions label in the email output

Is there any way to remove the colon “:” that is automatically added to the end of the Name field in the Instructions label?

I find it hard to phrase instructions with that colon mark there and it appears too even if I leave the field blank. From a user point of view, it might look like something is missing in the email output.

Always Show Custom Field On Cart Page

Hi,

I have a product on one of my sites that is added to the cart automatically using the URL string /?add-to-cart=123 when a certain page is selected. I would like to add a custom field to this product that can be edited on the Cart page. This only seems to show when the custom field has already been filled in on the product page which won’t happen if the product is added automatically. Is there a way to set this up?

I have also noticed that the “double click to edit” feature doesn’t seem to work on the Cart page for me on a Mac. Is this just an issue with a Mac or across all operating systems?
