I am using EDD with FES and Marketify as theme. I am still setting up my marketplace and trying to get out all the “mistakes” I did and can improve. I have 2 questions:

1. When I add a product via the frontend vendor submission form and click submit, the product is submitted correctly but the submission form is not reset / emptied and all fields keep filled it. When I just adjust all fields with the details of another new product I want to add, and click submit, again it says that all went OK. However, when I look at ‘Products’ in the vendor dashboard, only the last added product is there and when I click ‘view’ on that product, the permalink of that product has the name of the first uploaded product.

Example:
When I add a product and submit, then go to ‘products’, click ‘add product’ again the submission form is empty again and it looks like this (how it should be):
– Upload Product 1= DVD ==> permalink = www.mysite.com/downloads/dvd
– Upload Product 2= BLUERAY ==> permalink = www.mysite.com/download/blueray
– Upload Product 3= MP3 ==> permalink = www.mysite.com/download/mp3

In this case all 3 new products are added to ‘Products’, which is perfect.

When I add multiple products after each other without leaving the ‘add product’ tab in the vendor dashboard it looks like this:
– Upload Product 1= DVD ==> permalink = www.mysite.com/downloads/dvd
– Upload Product 2= BLUERAY ==> permalink = www.mysite.com/download/dvd
– Upload Product 3= MP3 ==> permalink = www.mysite.com/download/dvd

And only the last added product will be visible in the ‘Products’ tab but with the permalink of the first product. So to be able to add multiple products, a vendor should leave the ‘add product’ tab after every product submission, this is not the most time efficient.

Can I solve this somehow via a setting or is this a bug?

2. When I add a GIF file as a featured image via the FES submission form, it automatically starts playing in the ‘downloads’ overview on the vendor’s profile page (store) and in the page header when opening the product page. It’s great that it starts playing in the header of the product page, but I would like to prevent it from playing in the ‘downloads’ overview on the vendor page. As when there are 10 products with GIF’s as featured image, it gets way too busy and chaotic. Best would be that the GIF starts playing from the moment you hover the mouse over the product in the ‘downloads’ overview on the page. Is this possible to achieve this via some setting or plugin?

Start with the total sales generated by each vendor, I can see edd_payment_count in the Nice Name setting page. Unfortunately, this is not working good for me. Almost all the vendors are missing sales count. Out of 35 vendors only 3 vendors’ payment count is showing in the report. How can I fix this? Furthermore, is it possible to retrieve a sum of the total sales of each vendors?

1. FES Integration – We would like to enable vendors to set the sale price themselves via product submission/edit form (rather than doing it us for them as admin). This is very important cause we won’t be able to handle it as admins with over 2,000 products.
2. Commissions Compatibility – If we use this plugin, we would need to make sure that vendor payouts and our commissions (both for notifications and our WP back-end) are being calculated with sale prices and not the regular prices.

i don’t really know what i did to make all those links become like this:
https://locobay.com/downloads/test-photo/pontana

and now when i go to the correct link as it was directly, it tells me that “author not found”

is it because i’m using EDD FES? or anything, i have no clue what to do coz i’m a newbie, please help if you have any knowledge which can help in this case.

do you know how to get the same working links back? also let it have author’s page as before

Fields in the capital letter(s) are mandatory and automatically placed by the FES for WP user creation, whereas regular letter(s) fields are put by myself.

Is it possible to use your plugin to remove the following fields from this form?
