I’ve tested the title hook samples but they apparently only address the lists, not the individual post titles.
I am not a programmer. Is there a filter hook to fix this? Or perhaps a plugin fix?
]]>I posted this over a week ago in the Grow Business thread but haven’t had any replies yet so trying my luck here.
I have noticed that on all of my blog pages, the title is displaying in both the bar across the top and again in the blog itself. I would like to remove the second title (keep the one in the bar and remove the one with the rest of the blog) as it’s looks messy with duplicate headings at the moment.
Is there a way to achieve this across the site please? There are hundreds of blog posts so I would like to avoid doing them all individually if possible.
Looking forward to any responses – help much appreciated!

]]>My Ecwid shop is also generating duplicate titles for product pages.

Please can you advise how I can resolve this within the Ecwid Shop?
Many thanks.

]]>I don’t know whether this is thought of as an SEO issue so I don’t even know who to ask about it, do I need to hire someone to fix this or do I just need to change themes? Is the theme doing something odd? Yoast may be at the root of this.
Thanks.
]]>Our entire site is listing two titles on every page. When I switch to the default wordpress theme, the issue goes away, so there is something in the code that no one can find.
Any suggestions?

]]>I am getting duplicate titles on Google webmaster. Here is the format for the duplicate titles:
www.example.com/category/subcategory/post/attachment
www.example.com/category/post/attachment
Or generally with all the posts with attachments.
I am using Yoast SEO and I have tried everything. It is a fashion blog and I want the media/attachments to show on Google so I can’t just not index it. I don’t know what to do. I have gone to the YOAST options over and over again and still can’t find a way to fix it.
I would really appreciate if somebody gets back to me.
]]>I have a serious problem with duplicate titles on Google Webmaster. I am using Yoast plugin. About 4 months ago, I had to change the URL as they weren’t user friendly or weren’t SEO friendly to say. This caused duplicate titles and meta descriptions but I altered the titles and meta descriptions. and so the numbers of duplicates went down. But over two weeks ago, I started getting duplicate titles again but these duplicate titles were with attachments. It has been increasing by 100s every time Google crawls my website.
This is seriously affecting the SEO of my website. Can I get some help here?
