Number of links not detecting manually added links

Hi, thanks for creating the plugin. Overall, it’s excellent!

I’m using the plugin to add internal links to old neglected blog posts, but I’m having a bit of an issue with the “Number of links” setting. I’ve got this set to “1” and can see it doesn’t attempt to automate the same link more than once, which is great. However, it’s not detecting if a link has already been added manually, which results in duplicates.

Take this post for example: https://opace.agency/blog/magento-designers-ecommerce-success

It already links to https://opace.agency/services/ecommerce/magento-web-design-development using the anchor “Magento web designers” – this must have been added manually back in 2013 but the plugin is now adding another link to the same URL using “Magento designers”.

Obviously, we want to avoid this as it looks like link spamming. Sadly, our older posts suffer from both under linking and excessive linking, but this just makes the excessive linking issue worse.

Hopefully I’m just missing something?

Double menu duplicate links

Hi,

Every time I create a menu it duplicates itself (mobile and desktop) and also duplicates the links it conatins which hurts the linkjuice drastically.

If the menu is sticky, it also quadruples it!!

How can we fix this? I don’t need linkjuice seeping through so many holes.

This happens in all sites, not only in mine.

replicating login link on home page

For non-subscribed members or wholesale accounts, or if no one is logged in, the home page displays a replicating login link atop the main image over and over. How do we get rid of this? Also we tried to use support in the woocommerce store, but it won’t allow us into the support section without confirming our email. When clicking on email verification it just takes us to the WordPress account and no way to submit a ticket. We are paid subscribers under [email protected]. Please help.

Duplicate Links

Hi,
A few of my articles have duplicate links for the pictures:
This is the original article:
[ redundant link removed ]

But the above link is also published with just the picture.
But when I delete the picture with the link, the picture in the main article disappears, as obviously they are linked.

Does anyone have a solution for this problem?

I have installed this plugin on an internal server, so I cannot post a link to the page in question. I have a page with an assigned category of “X”. I have created a test post, also with the same category. No matter what parameters I insert, the plugin creates this from the shortcode:

* Excerpt
* Page title in plain text

I do not want or need the second bullet point. What do I need to use in order to get rid of it? As it is, this is unusable for me.

Duplicate links

Hi, I have managed to get my right side menu to display the beginning of a stack of listings I want to add. But, while tweaking things, I have also managed to get a duplicate link (in orange just below the Header) I just want the one on the side (under “Let’s Go Shopping”) NOT the one in orange. Can anyone help me get rid of the orange link?

Unsuccessful move

I want to use duplicator to move a site from my dev server at home to production at Godaddy. I have set up two virtual machines at home to test.

I moved the site from one server at 192.168.15.16 to another at 192.168.15.17. I have snapshots, so I can keep trying until I get things to work.

Installer.php runs fine without error. However, the page is broken and I am not sure where to start. Part of what I am seeing is that all formatting is gone and the menu is presented as a simple list of links down the left side. The links contain the replaced url twice = https://192.168.15.17192.168.15.17/?page_id=125.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

php script in subfolder

Hi,
I’ve installed wordpress at the domain root, and created a subfolder which contains a php script running another simple program. So from my wordpress site when you click a link you get the php script running.

Now the problem I have is that as part of this script, when you click on a link, the URL is duplicated. Please see for yourself – Link to subfolder below:

Maybe I have installed the subfolder in the wrong place or my configs.php settings are wrong (not wordpress but other program).
