I am planning to migrate my travel website Travoline.com – which has got a 3rd party whitelabel booking engine in the website. However, wanted to know, 1. if I migrate, will the link structures break? 2. should I download the drupal DB directly and upload in wordpress, so the content remains the same – is there any plugins I can use for this purpose? 3. What is an alternate best option to migrate without affecting the website.

Please can you tell me why after a drupal migration with FG drupal to wordpress plugin, when I edit a product (I have migrated an Ubercart shop), I see:

Resolve

???

But actually my product is displayed completely with pictures and everything is correct.

Should I do something to fix this message ?

How long to let this plugin active after migration ?

hello,

It seems that we have to let FG Drupal to wordpress plugin active after migration, but can I know if the only reason is the redirection of old urls to new ones ?

Can we assume that after some time Google will know all the new URL and then that we can deactivate this plugin ?

Or are there any other reasons to keep it active forever ?

1) you buy plugin with the ability to download new versions just for 3 months
2) to transfer database from drupa you need to buy one more additional plugin. Total it costs about 60 $
3) Plugin with the bugs and the author don’t want to resolve it. On my questions they don’t answer.

Don’t recommend to buy it!!! Free plugin is much more better.

500 Error on Install

I had WordPress working just fine on PHP 5.6. I have an existing site (Drupal 6) that I want to replace with the WordPress site. The WordPress site sits in a subfolder until we are done redesigning the site, then we will move it to the root folder.

The problem is, I made the mistake of switching to PHP 7. This broke the Drupal site. It will run on PHP 5.6. Now that I switched the site to 7, swtiching back to 5.6 breaks WordPress. I tried to do a complete wipe and reinstall of the subfolder, completely reinstalling WordPress from scratch in that folder. However, this fails to install. Apparently, the installer now wants only PHP 7. I can’t do that because I have to have the old site running.

I even tried an older version of WordPress. No luck.

Is there any way to get WordPress to run on PHP 5.6 again????

Redirects not working

Hi, having just done an import of 19k posts from Drupal the redirects from the old URL to the new WordPress aren’t working…? The redirects import has been completed, anything I can check to see why it didn’t work?

It is still on the test site url and we haven’t switched it onto the prod url. Could it be that?

I have four Drupal websites, two of them quite large, that I need to convert to WordPress, because I’m unable to deal with all the updating that Drupal requires. A month and a half ago, I hired a guy named [redacted] who did part of the job and was paid for it, but still hasn’t given me the work he did. I’ve given up on him. I’m looking to hire someone who can do the job in a reasonable and agreed upon amount of time for a reasonable and agreed upon price to be paid upon completion. The job requires moving thousands of posts, pages, and images, and working with WordPress to make them all accessible, including the images, in WordPress. Customized Drupal Site to WordPress

I am currently working on a site that is being built to replace a site that was initially built on Drupal. The problem is, this site has been severely customized, so your plugin fails every time.

I would’ve given up on this, might I need to move over 7,000 articles, so if there is any way to simplify this process, I would sincerely appreciate any and all help.
