Mobile menu dropdown background color

Hi. I’m brand new to webdev and I’m starting my first website…

I don’t know if I’m doing somthing wrong but for some reason these two are not matching in the mobile menu.

I’m under the impression that these should match but maybe I’m doing something wrong.

To not that I am using elementor but only to edit the content of the page. Not touching the header or anything with it. No custom code, no nothing.

Dropdown menus – wait before vanish

Hi all, is there a way to have the dropdown menus wait for a short period of time before vanishing (after moving the mouse away) I have had a few people comment that the menu disappears before they can click on an item, obviously they have bad mouse control and are moving away from the drop down block. I think it would be beneficial for the drop down to stay for maybe 2 seconds after moving away from it, unless another menu is clicked on.

Even if this is accomplished via some CSS code?

Problem with a dropdown country during checkout

Hi everyone,

I’m using Astra theme and Elementor Pro Checkout Widget, and I’m customizing my checkout page to match a dark theme.
However, the country dropdown menu shows up with a white background and white text, which clashes with the rest of my design.

I’d like the dropdown to have a black background with white text to fit the dark theme. I haven’t been able to achieve this with the usual settings.
So far I tried different CSS customisations, but none of them worked.

What’s strange – I got a glitch with a dropdown color which would be perfect, but it was for around 2 seconds. Not sure whether it was dark theme of my device, but such option would be perfect .

Dropdown menù

I am editing a simple contact form (I also tried creating a new one from scratch, but the result is the same). If I add a “dropdown menu” field, when saving the form it says, “Something went wrong while saving the form. Reload the page and try again. Contact the plugin support team if this behavior persists.” I’ve tried multiple times, even changing browsers, but the issue remains and I can’t save the form with the dropdown menu.

Dropdown menu not showing subitems when hovering over main item

Hey, in my header is a menu. This menu has items and subitems. It has always worked that when you hover over the mainitem it will show the subitems. Since a few weeks ago it randomly stopped working. So when I hover my mouse now it will just not show anything. Same for the phone menu it will show nothing. When you click on Services (The main item with the sub items) it will just give the page it has been asigned. Is there a fix?

searchbox in dropdown

I like this plugin a lot, but when we add a lot of redirects. it become very long list. it would be nice if we can make use of a searchbox in the dropdown menu. how can I make this happen ? can I use a snippet or some code to achive this ?

Mobile Menu Not Displaying as Dropdown in Hotelone Theme – Help Needed

Hello,

I am experiencing an issue with the mobile menu in the Hotelone theme, which I am using on my website. The menu on mobile devices is displayed as a list of links, instead of a dropdown menu as it should be.

I have tried the following steps:

Checked Theme Settings: I went through the settings under Appearance > Customize, but I did not find any options for customizing the mobile menu.
Added Custom CSS: I added CSS code to hide the main menu on mobile devices and display the mobile menu, but the issue persists.
Modified Theme Files: I made changes to header.php and functions.php, but the desired changes did not take effect.
Added JavaScript: I included JavaScript to activate the dropdown menu, but there was no change.
Deactivated All Plugins: I tried deactivating all active plugins and then reactivating them, but the issue remains. I have since reverted everything to its original state.

Questions:

Is it possible that the Hotelone theme has specific settings that affect the mobile menu? If so, where exactly can I find these settings?
Are there any specific modifications I should make to the Hotelone theme to ensure that the mobile menu displays correctly as a dropdown?
Could you recommend any specific plugin or method that could help me customize the mobile menu?

Custom Language Selection

I was working with a media team and they have already translated the mentioned website to several ones. They are on the server, I can access cPanel, they have are in subfolders.

So When you open the website, you can see a Language Selector Dropdown Menu placed in the topbar.

Recently I want to change the theme&design of the site, but I couldn’t figure out how to build a custom language dropdown menu like the that’s on the site.

Of course I can open on Chrome and copy the code but is there a plugin which can create such menu and accepts custom links without subscription?

I don’t want to pay annually for a translation plug-in. We are already paying for some kind of AI service and can access translation services.

So is there an easy way to do this?

Mobile Menu Width Issue

The menu is set to full width on mobile, tablet, and desktop. It works fine on desktop and tablet, but on mobile view, the words pile on top of each other. I do not see a straightforward way to fix this.
