Hi, is there a way to create a sub menu in a drop down menu? I am currently using a custom theme, would this be something I have to write into the theme?

Hi I’m running a soccer website.
I’m trying to compile all the stats into 1 shortcode/menu.
what I need is to place a menu on all my pages.
I need to have 3 separate menus.
1 will have competition( user can choose from 10)
next menu will filter from the first option chosen. now they will have the option of choosing from eg. table /results/ fixtures or top scorers. this then will filter to the last menu with a list of years. when they submit it should lead to a specific page.

In the link I have attached there is only 1 menu option. ideally this would be 3 separate drop downs

Trouble with Navigation Menu Behavior

Dear Community –

A web development company developed the site at kicteam.com and the company recently took the project over. Long before this transition we noticed that the Main navigation menu and the drop down menus, as well as the hover effects of the blue arrow :contact us” button on the left side, behave weirdly.

If you click on “About” or “Devices” and then move the mouse away and try to re-engage the drop-down menus, you find that they phase in and out and some menus will get “sticky” and overlap each other.

The company that built the site minified all the CSS (and I know this can cause issues as well), so it’s a bit difficult to narrow in on where the problem may exist.

The Contact button CSS also performs oddly. At some point, perhaps after you click on it, the button turns entirely blue. Mouse-out state should be a blue button with white “Contact Us” text. Mouse over/hover state turns the button white with blue text. Then, when you leave the button, at points it simply turns all blue (no white text).

The behavior happens across all browsers. We’ve tested in Safari, Opera, Chrome, Edge, and Firefox.

I am looking for guidance – to know if anyone has encountered this weird behavior in the menus, and perhaps point me in a troubleshooting direction, at least so I can hone in on where to look for the problem a bit faster.

This website was custom built by a web development company, using their own proprietary template system. And along the development path, looks like they minified all the JS and CSS.

Conditional Drop Downs

Hello,

We’re using sort and filter pro, to have a search function which shows paint swatches depending on their make, year & Model. These are set up as individual taxonomies. Under one post type of ‘paints’

I’ve got them pulling though in a search form here (https://elitepaints.uk.w3pcloud.com/?v=79cba1185463)

The client has requested for the search to be conditional.

For example, when someone selects ‘fiat’ it only pulls though the ‘models’ which are relevant for ‘fiat’ instead of all of the models.

Is this functionality do-able? With search and filter pro?

Any advice or suggestions would be extremely appreciated.

Half of drop downs stopped working

Reset Button for when using DataTables ColumnFilterWidgets

Hello,

I’m looking for a way to reset the Dropdown selections when using the DataTables ColumnFilterWidgets Extension. The experience for the user is pretty bad when you have to refresh the page each time. Any thoughts or ideas?

In addition, is there a way to populate the dropdowns in a table row instead of outside?

Dropdown Menu not working after latest update

I have just updated the theme to the latest version and now the dropdown menu doesn’t work any more.

Anybody have any ideas how to fix this? I have checked google console and there isn’t any errors.

Drop downs not working

Yes Hello my dropdowns are not working properly. Went to main nav tried both with 0020px25px then with 00020px and neither worked. It was at 00025px so I am at a loss. Not a developer just need a quick answer

Populating lists and conditions based off of CSV file

Using the current Form Maker and conditional formatting rules, we are able to show one of several drop-downs in section B based off of the drop-down chosen in section A. This would normally be great, as form maker is exceptionally quick and works very well. The problem is the sheer amount of options we have and how often they change. We are wondering if there is any way to automatically populate a drop down list and further associate drop-downs based on the contents of a CSV file. An example of this would be:

John Smith – Security Group 1
John Smith – Security Group 2
John Smith – Security Group 3
David Banner – Security Group 2
David Banner – Security Group 4
Josh Nettle – Security Group 1
Josh Nettle – Security Group 5

We are looking for a way to automatically create a drop-down with the options of ‘John Smith, David Banner, Josh Nettle’, with the security groups they have assigned to them in a secondary drop down based on the name chosen.

Is this possible with Form Maker or is this more complicated than the plugin can handle?

Small/Large Drop-Down Fields

I just updated to v. 1.7.2 and noticed that the drop-down menus have changed on this form. If you click on Cream Pies, for example, the pie options are now very small so the pie names are wrapping, but the quantity field is really huge even though it’s just a text box that needs only a couple numeric characters at most. I tried looking at the options within Gravity Forms but didn’t see a way to alter the sizes of those fields. Help?
