I am using the DOIFD plugin for users to download pdf files after they double opt-in. Now I need to find a way to add an additional custom field to the form. I understand this is not available even in the premium version. The DOIFD website is also unreachable!
Please suggest an alternative to this plugin. Or any suggestions to implement this requirement?

]]>Thank you for the DOIFD WordPress plugin! The use case it supports is very relevant.
I’m not a programmer. Yet I am trying to achieve something that builds on the DOIFD use case. What I would like is for the DOIFD form to be hidden on my front page, and only become visible to the user when they click on a button that says something like: “Yes, I want to download that wonderful PDF file you’re going on about!”.
(I’ve dubbed it the ‘five-step opt-in’: https://josschuurmans.com/five-step-opt-in-for-wordpress/)
Do you know if and how this can be achieved? I wonder if the best approach might be to use a Jquery script that makes the DOIFD form load on button-click?
Could you point me in the direction?
Many thanks,
Jos
