I use Elementor Pro and have two ‘Subscribe’ popups; the first is triggered by clicking on a button/link in the site header.
When a potential subscriber does that, Brevo sends a DOI email to the them, they click on ‘Confirm’, then their email address is added to my contacts list in Brevo and the subscriber is taken to a landing page.
This popup works as it should.
The other popup is triggered 15 seconds after my homepage has loaded, but if a potential subscriber fills out their details on this one, they don’t receive the DOI email and their name is still added to the contacts list in Brevo, even though they haven’t confirmed.
I’ve compared all the settings between the two popups and I can’t see any differences, apart from the ID names.
I also designed a new ‘test’ popup and published that and I have the same issue.
My head is hurting trying to think how this might happen!
How can a subscriber be added to the Brevo contact list before confirming their email address?!
Has anyone got any ideas?
]]>First of all, thanx a lot for making CF7 available and, especially, for implementing the Brevo API. That’s a big help for us.
Judging from some posts on here, we’re not the only ones though who try to make Brevo’s Double-Opt-In work with a CF7 form. It is still unclear, if DOI is required by GDPR, but it is certainly going to be compulsory in the future.
Do you think this is somethin you’d like to build in? I spoke to a developer at Brevo who asked me to pass on the link to their DOI reference https://developers.brevo.com/reference/createdoicontact and to add, that to pass on the parameter you’d have to support Brevo’s endpoint.

Here’s an example DOI link: https://doi.org/10.1016/j.metabol.2018.11.001
The corresponding citation (copied from PubMed) is:
I’d like to be able to paste in the DOI link and have it convert to the full citation.
]]>how is the best way to solve the following?
I have 3 different freebies and the normal newsletter. Everyone who signs up for freebie No.1, No.2 or No.3 or the newsletter should get a double opt-in (DOI) email. If possible with different DOI mail text.
And after clicking the button in the DOI, the recipient should be redirected to a different site each time.
> Page 1: Thank you Freebie 1
> Page 2: Thank you Freebie 2
> Page 3: Thank you Freebie 3
and
> Page 4: Thank you Newsletter
Additional I want to set different tags to the recipient profil.
I guess it is necessary to elegantly control different things, like freebies, webinars and newsletters, etc.
Is there already a workaround to solve this?
Or maybe you have already a video, that shows how to fix this?
It would be great if the FluentCRM-Team will implement as soon as possible, multiple Double-Opt-In (DOI) mails or something similar.
Is there a solution or workaround, how to fix this at the moment?
Maybe with automations?
Thanks a lot!

is it possible to create multiple confirmation texts for double opt-in? Currently, I only see “Settings -> Double Opt-in Settings”, which seems like a single global solution.
However, depending on what I intend to do, I need the possibility to change the text. The reason I want to differentiate is because of different use cases (newsletter subscription, download a freebie only etc.).
I was thinking about, whether it can be done with SmartCodes, but honestly, I am not sure.
Thanks!

]]>I would like to suggest you add a new book info field: DOI.
Add/edit Book → Formats and editions → DOI
A DOI (Digital Object Identifier) is a unique and never-changing string assigned to a DIGITAL document, for example, an e-book or EPUB.
Sample Format: https://doi.org/10.0000/0269881118800000
In case you like the idea, here there is additional information:

Thank you very much!

https://sunsetkollektiv.com/my-account/?activate36109449:$P$ByC/8ZsPY4SsjqS5.jwTz./8EGkDLv.&suffix=yes

]]>I would also like to be able to grab the abstract from the import, if that is possible for a future release.
