Hello Forminator Support Forum!

I’m having an issue with the Zapier to Google Sheets integration with Forminator. My Forminator form on the attached page. The integration is working because Forminator / Zapier are sending information to Google Sheets, but I can’t get the uploaded document to be hyperlinked to the Google Sheet document. Do you have any ideas on how to get this to work correctly?

I’ve tried adding all the document upload related fields, as well as just the main hyperlink, but in none of those options does the actual document get attached to the form.

I have also tried a separate Zapier > Google Sheets integration to only upload the document, but all it does is upload a text file of the URL and not the document.

Any ideas on what I could change to get the document to upload with either one of these zaps?

Hi,

I’m working on a custom plugin that allows users to register, and submit documents to support their registration. The documents need to be uploaded to the server’s filesystem and reviewed by a moderator before the registration is approved. Can anyone suggest some tutorials on including upload logic in a custom plugin?

I have downloaded the plug in “Document Gallery” but do not like the appearance. It doesn’t load the icons, just a generic logo. Any suggestions for a good plug-in? I have about 100 documents that will go on 6 different pages. I need something smooth and seamless. This is the link to the page I am trying to mimic.

Attached files not attached when I receive email

I have created a contact form that allows for files to be attached. When I receive the email, I see the name of the file attached listed attachedfile.doc (or whatever the name of the file is), however it is not actually attached to the email and I am not sure where it would be stored if it does not get sent to me directly in the email. I will attached the Form and email templates for reference.

This is the form:

upload a doc to fill a page

Hi,
I’d like to upload a copy of a CV to it’s own Page on my site, but unsuccessful.

I did try to upload a jpg image of my CV with curious results. No matter what pixel size I set in Preview for the CV, it was visually never very large on my website. It always appeared about the same size regardless of pixel size. But, many images I have on the website have less pixels than the CV, but are much larger on the Page. I don’t understand.

Creation trail: Pages>.pdf>Preview>jpeg>Media Library>Page

I want lookers to see the same CV as the one I would email to them. Any suggestions?? Thanx folks.? Tom

Upload notification on member's notifications tab

Hello,

Is it possible to have a notification sent to all group members’ notifications page on their profile when a document is uploaded to a group? I see that the activity appears in Activity>Groups if we have the activity stream enabled, but it doesn’t appear in the member’s Notifications. We do receive email notifications, but I’m not seeing these notifications appear in my member notifications area on our website. Just wondering if I’m missing a setting or something.

Documents upload not working in IE8 with latest BuddyPress

Using v2.1 Buddypress and v1.6 Buddypress Activity Plus and unfortunately IE8 as it’s the company standard browser.

Uploading photos works fine. With documents, the document appears to upload, then you hit ‘add documents’ and everything disappears. Can’t find the file in the file structure using FTP either.

Any suggestions of fixes or even how I might go about debugging would be welcomed.

Works fine in Chrome.
