Will Download Monitor do that? And if not, can someone recommend a plug-in that will? I’ve been searching the web for such a plug-in for a while without success.

]]>Files are listed as uploaded but have not.
In the file view pop-up (when you click in the window to open an uploaded file) it lists documents I’ve recently added, it but cannot find them when you click to download.
The pseudo-uploaded files are also not available in the Dashboard’s “latest uploads” tab either (as mentioned in an similar thread with not quite the same problem). The dashboard has file names on the admin side, but no icons and again, no file. But only for the last month or so; before then, it worked fine.
The Uploads are not getting through to the back end of my site. Since the 4th September there have been no new folders or modifications (in the form of additions) to my wp-content/uploads/sp-client-document-manager directory… Despite several attempted uploads.
However they are still listed as existing there in the SP CD Manager.
Files seem to delete ok though.
I know that sp_cu worked properly on Oct 17th when I was using 1.9.4.
I did the update release 1.9.4 on 21st October.
It has not worked since then. However, I tried backdating my version; I removed 1.9.4 and reinstalled 1.9.2, but that did not help. (and I know correlation does not necessarily mean causation)
To see if it could be a JavaScript problem I tried multiple browsers. Mine are fully up-to-date. I’ve tried to upload and then download a file via Firefox and via Chrome. In both browsers, the files cannot be accessed although they are listed as uploaded.
It’s weird that it used to work fine but does not now. People (my users) are starting to notice that it’s not working.
Please help, or maybe send a fix in your next update.
Thanks,
Fled

]]>I’m using word press v3.6.1 and wondered if anyone can recommend a good plugin that specifically allows me to:
– assign users to ‘groups’
– setup download areas / file manager tree where certain files and folders will only be visible to certain users or groups of users
There are loads of user cases for this, e.g. a Dr who wants to upload patient files and when a patient logs in, they can only see files linked to their user account. Or a Landlord who wants to upload tenancy details and property documents that relate to a specific property, and when a user (tenant) logs in, they can only view files associated to the property they live in etc.
I can’t seem to find a plugin for wordpress that caters for this, even though it seems like a fundamental plugin with lots of potential usecases.
Any recommendations would be great!
Thanks in advance

Does it exist ? I made many searches without success.
