For example, in the overall table, each event would display TITLE, TIMES, SUBTITLE and then CATEGORIES. Possible?
Thanks in advance for your guidance.
]]>Is it possible to automatically display hierarchy subcategories when the parent category is selected in the shop page?
The idea is to don’t use the “+” button and automatically display the child categories when the parent category is clicked.
Thanks
]]>So long story short, I’ve found that somehow it’s my (simple) theme that’s causing only products to show up and not sub categories. Yes I tested in 2022 and in that theme it does display the sub categories as intended.
I’ve stripped my theme down to the barest essentials and it still will only display categories vs showing me the sub categories.
Does anyone know what in a theme would hinder sub categories from showing?
The shop in question is setup this way:
Shop Page / Category / Sub Category / Products
Any ideas are highly appreciated.
]]>The Latest Posts block has settings for “Display author name” and “Display post date” – is there a reason it doesn’t support “Display categories” as well? Is there a known way to add this?
Background on what I am trying to do: I am trying to display my last 1 or 2 posts on my home page, with some other home page content above. I want the full content of these posts to display in the main page area, not the sidebar. A “Latest Posts” block on my home page does everything I need, except for displaying the category links. I’m fine with trying a different approach, so long as it doesn’t affect other pages etc.
]]>I use the Newspaper theme, and I want to display WP-adver categories outside of the layout homepage. But in the option of displaying the category list of themes I don’t see the category id or post id. And I have no way to do this. Please give me advice.
Thanks.
]]>Thanks much for any info or suggestions. Great plugin by the way
]]>First and foremost – thank you very much for the plugin.
I was wondering if it would be possible to not hide the password protected categories from the shop page (when it is set to display categories)? In other words, I would still like everyone to be able to see all of the categories, they just cannot see what products are in each category without entering the password for a specific category after they select it.
Please let me know if that doesn’t make sense and I’ll do a better job explaining.
Thank you again,
Jacob
]]>Note: when I was using Prestashop, before shifting to WooCommerce, I had no problem displaying all my categories even if there were no products created and associated with the categories.
