This morning I needed to log in to the host. They are telling me I am out of space and I don’t know why. They changed their log in process and sent an auth code to the owner. I tried to tell them I am the admin, but they would not let me log in.
Here is my question. What I need to do is free up some space. Can I do what I need to do without logging into the web host?
]]>I am new to WP Engine and have that issue in 6.5.4. Under Site Health / Security / “Disk space available to perform updates”, it states “Could not determine available disk space for updates.”
Does anyone else here use WP Engine and have the same issue? If it’s due to the fact that WP Engine disables “disk_free_space”, and everyone has it there, fine. But I’m sure that case was fixed.
Support just says that it doesn’t really impact anything, just a WordPress code issue that may be fixed at some point. However, it’s not plugin or theme-related. A fresh installation throws the same issue, so it’s likely a server problem (or everyone has it for real). Since I’m paying 600 bucks a month, it would be nice to know I’m not sitting on a misconfigured server.
Any input is appreciated!
/var/mail
directory was full of emails generated by the Instagram plugin!I’ve switched the ‘Feed Issue Email Reports’ off now but I just thought it might be worth sharing for the devs.
I am buying Gigabyte after Gigabyte for my site, only to run out of memory a week later. I came across this minor detail….
First of all I wonder why this is not fixed from your side, since it is a known issue?
Anyways, trying to compare before I run out of memory again. I have no idea what my “code” to obstruct is…. I am using Chrome Incognito vs Safari
Please advice, thank you
]]>Disk Space Available: ‘0 B’
Less than 100MB, please make sure your disk space is enough. Learn More
Checking the server I have 30gb free, so this should not be the case.
Any thoughts on how to debug this further? Thanks!
]]>My understanding is that a number of shared hosting providers – like WPE – disable this function, so I would think others might have this issue.
Has anyone else experienced this?
Our site site has 71 posts and 17 pages.
The folder /wp-content/litespeed/js/is 776MB in size.
Every js file in this folder is around 1MB in size.
The files are dated between 2023-04-29 and 2023-05-03, today, so 5 days.
Why would there by so many JS files?
BTW, the site is connected to quic.cloud’s CDN which is using 200MB of storage.
The 776MB is putting the site over the hosting’s disk quota.
Help appreciated.
