Adding a Glossary Term makes entire text area disappear where term is found

I had high hopes of trying the Glossary plugin by codeat. Supposedly does exactly what we want. I am trying the free version as a test: Added categories and a couple of terms – easy. Enabled the use on pages in the Glossary->Settings. Added a text area and used the glossary term in the sentence. I am expecting a tooltip to show for the term in the sentence to demonstrate basic functionality.
When I do this, the entire text area does not show.
When I delete ONLY the term in the sentence the text area does show.
I am sure the behavior is proving that the glossary finds the term – it just seems to whack the display of the text box.
I am using Elementor with the Neve Pro theme. Basic stuff here. I’m not a developer.
One thing I am noticing is that for the page editor, I see the “Glossary Post Override” setting area with the on/off toggle for “Disable Glossary for this Post” (despite it being a page) setting, but non of the other choices to disable categories or terms as in the documentation, I also do not see the settings to control the glossary tooltips on the main Pages or Posts sections on the Dashboard. I have updated everything – my install was just done today.
I am so disappointed and hope you can help me get this working so that we can purchase this. If it would work, it would be really great for our site!
If you offer advice I would appreciate specifics on how to turn on error reporting as I am not a developer.

Text has disappeared in classic editor

I can no longer see my property descriptions in the Classic Editor, though they do appear in the Block Editor.

This began roughly last week and I’ve discovered the issue to originate from the Editor plugin.

Text in sidebar widgets disappearing

Hi there,
I have the same issue on all sidebar widgets that have text fields.
In the sign box that asks for email, the text disappears after your write an @ symbol. The first part of the text is displayed in red even though I have assigned a black colour in the Appearance/customise section
In the search bar field the text is not visible at all. It is there in white against a white background so invisible. I can’t work out what the issue is.

Broken Visual Editor when using Pale Moon browser

The visual editor will mysteriously make entire sentences of text disappear from your current paragraph when you press ENTER to go to the next paragraph, when using the Pale Moon browser. The lost text seems to be unrecoverable. The text will disappear even if you click “save draft” before hitting ENTER.

This was using a fresh install of latest wordpress with the Twenty Nineteen theme.

Blog headings turning white / disappearing when moused-over

I’ve recently migrated my website to OceanWP (I love this theme!) but I’ve somehow got a particular setting wrong, since when the blog page (which shows my latest 3 posts) presents those posts, when their titles are ‘moused-over’ they turn white.

When I then click on any of them their actual title is not a link so doesn’t white out, but the three suggested posts under the “You Might Also Like” heading do the same.

I’ve compared the settings with another website I’ve set up that has a blog but can’t see what I’ve done with this one.

The mouse-over colours for the on-page links all appear ok, as do the mouse-over effects for the menu and other headings, so I’m rather confused.

Body Text Missing on Mobile Posts & Pages (but Titles appear)

I wanted to post this problem and how I found the solution here, in case others have found body text missing when they access their WordPress site on a smart phone (mobile).

My home page–set to blog posts, as opposed to static page–was fine, but if I visited any individual post or page on my iPhone 6s, all I would see is the post/page Title and then the Comments section.

I use the Genesis Framework with the eleven40 Pro Theme. Hosting with SiteGround. All plugins updated regularly. Details below.

I have permalinks set to Post name. I tried Safari and Chrome on my iPhone. I cleared cache in both browsers. But none of those things helped.

Try deactivating all plugins. If that resolves the issue, reactivate each one individually until you find the cause.

If that does not resolve the issue, try switching to the Twenty Fifteen theme to rule-out a theme-specific issue (theme functions can interfere like plugins).

I don’t know why but two plugins each caused the problem individually, i.e., if either one was activated, the problem occurred. The plugins were: USM Premium 5.7 and WPtouch Pro 4.3.20

I paid good money for both of them, but that’s the way it goes sometimes. I could go back and forth with their support departments but they are only open bankers hours and time is precious, so I deleted both plugins.

Edits disappearing for posts

Hello

I went to add a new post today, pasted in my text, went to text view to review some code and all the text had disappeared. Pasted again and saved the post, it reloaded with a blank edit space.

Can anyone assist?

Hello. I’m experiencing strange problem. I run site on Charitas Lite theme. Everything was set and ok (plugins, pages, blogpages). Everything was good to go, so i leaved site for week. Today i wanted to check if everything is ok, and it wasn’t. Text disappeared from all pages. In edit mode text is still there, but its not displaying.

Tried to change theme (first shot it must be something wrong with theme), but on other theme same problem (Avnii theme).

There where no updates of anything in last week. Any clue what is going on?

Everything Disappeared – Fonts

Apparently my font color somehow has changed to “white” so that everything blends into the background. When I am trying to edit the test on a page I cannot see the white text on the white page edit background. Everything is there I just can’t see it when edits. When published everything looks OK. I am currently using the Twenty Ten theme. I have tried switching themes, but same problem exists. PLEASE HELP!

Disappearing text

Out of the blue text enclosed in “em” tags didn’t show up on the page. I believe this happened yesterday. Now the text shows up in italics as expected. But just seconds ago I noticed that text enclosed in the “strong” tags is not being displayed on the page. Is this a template problem? The problem seemed to come and go on its own, so I’m confused. :O)
